The deck's mediocre, but it's a thing. I just like the name...land nauseam, har har.

Jeff Hoogland actually played it a couple of times just search for Landnauseam.
Drawing your entire Deck is definitly fun.
It was surprising me when I first saw this.
As I wrote two months ago: "Btw. I would also like to try a more lands version of LandsNauseam..." when we were talking about black splashes (but there were no more input after that if I remember it...)
I like it... It's more the type of deck I was playing before Lands ;-)
Thoughts on Commander 2018's Lord Windgrace? 5 mana is a lot but having a draw engine and crucible effect seems pretty nice and it is fairly splashable.

Lord Windgrace - 2BRG
Loyalty: 5
+2: Discard a card, then draw a card. If a land card is discarded this way, draw an additional card.
-3: Return up to 2 target land cards from your graveyard to the battlefield
-11: Destroy up to six target nonland permanents, then create six 2/2 green Cat Warrior creature tokens with forestwalk.
Lord Windgrace can be your commander.

If for some reason fast combo or Counterbalance becomes a huge part of the meta then the inclusion of black could be more compelling with Thoughtseize and Abrupt Decay. In the meantime, if you want a fun planeswalker I'd still lean towards Nissa, Vital Force.
A Stingerfling Spider that is going to have 5 power instead of 2? Possible interesting tech against S&T, with occasional relevance against other decks since it's castable unlike ashen rider.
I'm grasping at straws obviously but it's vaguely worth thinking about.
They bring Magus of the Balance.
Too bad. The Lands deck would have been the chance to bring Magus of the Fastbond... Oh well...
So no cool new lands so far... Still hoping ;-)
So out of C18 we get... nothing.
I really thought they give us a Lands deck, not a landfall deck.
But even then they could give us an interesting land, but no...
Or do you see something interesting out of it?
Anyone else testing RUG? It has felt pretty good for me so far. In my local meta the only thing i feel like i get worse against is SNT. Everything else it feels super good against!
I'm playing RGu all the time. But it seems I'm not the best pilot and it got worse since the shaman ban.
The deck feels good and I think there's only one small thing missing for a win. I can't tell what's missing or if it's bad luck... I even lost to goblins or so. There's always a blood moon, surgical extraction, leyline of the void in the way...
But it feels good to have EE in the deck. Maybe I want to include more of them(?)
Do you have a deck list?
Do you go for ports?
Recently I have been having great results with the deck(winning my last 2-3 locals). My main cocern is sanctum prelate as I dont play barbarian ring. What do you guys think of changing sheltered thicket for ring? Do you use the fetchable feature a lot? On a side note I have been playing ancient tomb instead of rifstone portal as a one of and its realy realy good. Its also great to have an additional side slot for the second choke
I like the RuG build. It’s just a little splash though. Recurring Engineered Explosives is great. It’s a little tougher to play because there are less “turbo Marit Lage” hands.
I don’t think they ever intentionally print cards for Lands. They print cards for decks like Death and Taxes because Wizards wants to print “traditional” decks. There’s just synergies that come together for Lands that people figure out. I don’t think Wizards likes the concept of a deck that plays more lands than spells.

I don't think Wizards likes the concept of a deck that cheats in high casting cost creatures for nothing, but they print such cards. ;-)
I'm with you that they don't print a card especially for Lands. But a little stronger land in an eternal set would be nice. Just a land with a normally not so landly effect will do it.
They had the chance to do it in the lands matters commander deck... But they didn't.
Hi all, I'm looking for a recent RGu build, after the DRS ban.
I've searched the last pages of the thread but did not find a list.
Can someone help me please? :)

So I've always played and loved the RGu build for flexibility and to have answers. But recently I questioned the Academy ruins plan when we could keep it to 2 colors and just play buried ruin. It's just as grave dependent but so much quicker when we need to answer something asap. Sure it takes a land drop to recur every turn but answering something now is better than waiting a turn. Going along with the artifact side plan I've been trying a walking ballista. I decided that ports are better with this plan because it gives us more access to mana on board plus I moved ancient tomb to the main. Considering 2nd explosives main.

Buried ruins was discussed many pages ago, but it works in your build.
Between 4x thespians' stage and 4x mox diamond I would usually run an academy ruins with no dedicated island.
Any chance the older UGb builds are still viable? Bobby Kovacs?
Those old lists ran 4 exploration and 4 manabond with some number of raven's crime and 4 dark confidant in side...
There is some talk about the older Jund style builds, if you want to mess around with them I would not argue against it. With new cards there could be some viability to it but your need to push your coloured mana count up will cut into your flexibility.
