PS: Sorry about being so silent lately, going through quite a few changes in my daily life and have ended up with a pretty screwed up timetable. Hopefully I'll have the hang of it soon and manage to take better care to react to the feedback I get!

Myth Realized can dodge bolt with instants, right? If they go to bolt it, Brainstorm!

I'm surprised that you didn't mention Virulent Plague for Vintage in this article.

I haven't really done any testing with it, but it seems like a really good sideboard card along the lines of Grafdigger's Cage for creatureless decks. It's good against Dredge, Oath, and anything trying to win with Pyromancer or Mentor. Three mana is quite a bit, but this doesn't necessarily need to come down on turn 1.

But Illness doesn't hit Zombie Tokens (unless you have multiples)
I am convinced that WotC is "dumbing" the game because of all the stupid posts they come across on MTG-related forums

I wonder if there are any silly things to do with 8 baubles + 4 Gitaxian Probe, just for the hell of it.

You did a good job of covering the other interesting cards in the set. The only card I would add is Avatar of the Resolute for Modern Stompy.
Raw numbers makes it slightly weaker than Kalonian Tusker however between having Trample and plenty of creatures that can get +1/+1 counters (Experiment One, Strangleroot Geist or even Skarrgan Pit-Skulk) I could see it replacing Tusker.

I do like the "Reveal a Dragon card" concept; it is just a shame there are not many dragons played in competitive decks. Silumgar Scorn makes me want to brew something in Modern.
My Legacy Decks of choice: Pox, Miracles, D&T or Lands.

Cage shuts down dredge, and reanimator. As well Storm does not like it as sometimes they need PiF to win and cage shuts it down as well. Killing the tokens would be a bit overkill against Dredge as your GY Hate should already be strong enough. Rest In Peace, Containment Priest, Surgical Extraction, etc can all stop Narcomeba from coming into play off a dredge trigger. Killing the tokens (assuming you can drop this in time which is hard considering how often dredge can go off on Turn 1 or 2) is not needed, plus some builds can potentially go off without the tokens, with Flayer of the Hatebound they just need to drop a couple creatures other than narcomeba (5 in play with is enough so with 4 Narcomeba's they just need 1 more) to be able to double Dread Return and kill off flayer's triggers.

I thought Mentors make 1/2 tokens. After learning that they only make 1/1s, Illness is better in vintage (given you also have a Cages in your 75).

I do like that this new card dodges Misstep though.

Yeah. The same way it dodges Flash.

I like it for standard. Flexibility: 2/1 unblockable for 2 or 2/1 imblocable for 3 that draws you a card for R next turn, or the same turn if you have too much mana.
I think there are better options for modern / legacy RDW decks.
