Discussion:
Win conditions are Monastery Mentor beats, JTMS, or a big Bonfire of the Damned.
I decided to cut terminus as I do not want to get rid of any generated tokens. Bonfire is a pretty good choice but does not deal with a few problematic cards in match ups like Sneak & Show or Reanimator ... or even a Marit Lage. Lightning bolt and Swords remove problematic creatures and delvers. Only two swords because of life gain and we have SCM to re-buy them if needed. Repeal is also a nice bounce cantrip effect which works really well with Mystic Remora, SDT, and Monastery Mentor.
Mystic Remora is obviously the hardest sell for legacy. I wanted to try it out in a deck and this one where we want to stall the game until we can run out a MM seemed like a good chance to try it. Force of Will is a clear 4 of....and I went with one Misdirection to protect MM and Counterbalance from abrupt decay. I originally had a counterspell to add another 2 CMC for counterbalance...but Misdirection seems like good protection.
I decided to go with the counterbalance route since they trigger mentor and allows the Top Counterbalance lock since I was going to run at least 2 SDT anyways.
Sideboard is pretty generic with the exception of the SFM package.
Let me know what you think. I have not built the deck yet but I plan on building it for next week local legacy games. I will try and post next week with match ups.
I bet you want to at drop a Remora for another SDT, since with Mentor drawing 2 SDT means you can trigger Mentor as many times as you have mana, which seems like a good way to close games.
I like this idea and have been pondering on a list myself. First off I wouldn't venture far from the current proven miracles shell. It works and is proven and optimized. Issues I see however are how to deal with bodies such as Etched Champion, True-Name Nemesis and Mother of Runes shenanigans since Bonfire is dealing damage. Also I think the deck requires a basic Mountain since Bonfire must be available no matter what and wasteland can effectively cut you off from red without one. I think there is potential here though once those issues are addressed.

Comments:
Shifting to a little more agro type shell where we are trying to set up a time walk swing with mentor.
Since the deck no longer is playing mystic remora I am planning on taking out the two repeals and adding a pyroblast and counterspell.
