[Podcast] - Legacy Breakfast - Episode 54: Dragons of Tarkir Set Review & Tourn. Rep.

We trawl through Dragons of Tarkir in order to find some new legacy playable cards. And then (SPOILER ALERT), because there aren’t any, you get a bonus mandatory fun tourney report from both our experiences at the Fanboy3 legacy tournament. We discuss how we are thinking about developing our decks, Sneak&Show and Infect.

Love the podcast guys, keep up the great work! I'm finding the personal angle on the decks you two are playing and how you're tweaking them very interesting.

One thing I was surprised by was that Stu T dismissed Submerge on Primeval Titan so quickly (towards the end he talked about Submerging a Veteran Explorer as a pseudo-time walk). I've always thought Submerge on Prime Time is actually pretty solid because you can do it in response to his search+shuffle trigger. It's a "may" trigger so it's not as good as Submerging a Knight of the Reliquary, but (assuming they choose to keep their Titan on top) you do get to stop the opponent from searching up lands in addition to wasting their mana and draw, so there's some tempo to be gained.
