Why is 50% of the stream just talking at the booth? Did they not queue enough matches? Are the commentators of note in any way? The sound effects add nothing to the broadcast. They must not care about presenting professionalism or have never seen a well produced event.

Anyone have any information about Grixis Delver, which looks to be larger than BUG?

Maybe the source will soon have a GP winner posting, Kai seems to be at least in the semifinals :)

You can find complete video-coverage for Day 2 of GP Kyoto on my YouTube channel. For the Semifinals + Finals we also provided English commentary:

The seven cardinal sins of Legacy:
    1. Discuss the unbanning of Land Tax Earthcraft.
    2. Argue that banning Force of Will would make the format healthier.
    3. Play Brainstorm without Fetchlands.
    4. Stifle Standstill.
    5. Think that Gaea's Blessing will make you Solidarity-proof.
    6. Pass priority after playing Infernal Tutor.
    7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).

The GP was a miserable watch, but the artist interviews had me on the floor dying laughing.

One of the commentators was Tsuyoshi Fujita. Their commentary was solid during the Omni mirror match that I caught. They were also getting on Murakami for his play errors in g1 of the finals. Personally, I preferred Julian's commentary of the semis :-)

I'm not sure which sound effects you mean, but including strange effects is a part of TV culture here.

At the event there were two tables chained off for feature matches. One of them had a camera crew at work. My guess is that if the main match ended early they would move the back-up match to that table...? I never saw it happen and don't know what is usual at large events.

As far as nicovideo goes, I was able to watch for a stretch on the train home without advertisements or interruptions. It wasn't until the later rounds of top 8 that I started getting booted in favor of premium users. There's an option to stop the comments flashing across the screen.
