Hey guys, just finished my report+gallery of this spring's Ovinogeddon tournament in Milan, Italy. If you wanna see what we crazy Europeans are up to right now, check it out on my website:Every spring and autumn most of the European Legacy population heads south towards the Lombardy’s capital city Milan. Soon going into its 10th year, Ovinogeddon has long become one of our continent’s main Eternal fixtures. We often like to think of the duality of the Bazaar of Moxen in France and the Ovinogeddon in Italy as the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia of European Legacy and Vintage, where no matter if you win, just being there is already well worth the experience!

The seven cardinal sins of Legacy:
1. Discuss the unbanning ofLand TaxEarthcraft.
2. Argue that banning Force of Will would make the format healthier.
3. Play Brainstorm without Fetchlands.
4. Stifle Standstill.
5. Think that Gaea's Blessing will make you Solidarity-proof.
6. Pass priority after playing Infernal Tutor.
7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).
Hi Julian, nice report but I think that your miracle list has some errors (4 Force of Will mb and 1 Force of Will Sb)

Nice report as always, do you know if the GW list you faced is posted anywhere?
And the RGW Loam list(Django) while we are at it .
Sure! You can find Marius' GW Death & Taxes list here: http://www.mercadia.de/home/page.php...Fdeck&id=99951
Note that the 2 "Squire" in the list are 2 Containment Priest.
I unfortunately don't have Django's RGW Loam list. All I know is that he finished 5-3 with it.

Terravore :) A walk in the past...
And 3 gemstone caverns, talk about getting all the small edges. Thanks for digging out the list.
What was the score needed for top8? 7-2?
7-2 didn't get there. There were even some 7-1-1's who didn't make it as far as I know.
Yeah, I gave him some shit for running Mox Diamond AND Gemstone Caverns, but watching him play, it worked out better than I thought.

Sweet report!
Do you have a copy of the GW Death and Taxes list? I've been playing Vial Maverick as one of my decks the past few months, and it has a much stronger Miracles matchup than it might seem on paper. I imagine the two archetypes have quite a bit of overlap, so I was interested in incorporating some different ideas.
You can find Marius' list here: http://www.mercadia.de/home/page.php...Fdeck&id=99951
Note that the 2 "Squire" in the list are actually Containment Priest. Unfortunately the website somwhoe didn't implement it yet.

Thanks for writing up the report, Julian. I just managed to read it now.
The situation that you are in now -- balancing priorities and thinking about the state of the format -- is a very relatable one. And I think it's healthy to be aware of it, in order to make the right adjustments. You've basically described where I was mentally last year when we met in Munich and New Jersey. I had a lot of things going on, and Magic wasn't something I put in a lot of preparation for. I wasn't really having all that much fun, due to a combination of work/life/relationship and the state of the format.
But if there's one thing I know, it's that life (and Legacy) is cyclical, and things can and will change. So maybe a few bannings later, and you won't have to play Miracles for much longer :)
You've also inspired me to try and finish my thoughts, in writing, on how I was feeling mentally last year when it came to Magic. Maybe I won't even publish it, but it's good to get the words on to paper.
