    GP Lille video coverage

Hey, anyone know if there is video coverage for GP Lille today? There better be, it's one of the few (3?) legacy GPs this year. If they ditch covering it and instead cover limited GP #78 or standard GP #58, I'll be a little angry.

EDIT: I'm a lazy ******, here are the details: http://magic.wizards.com/en/events/coverage/gplil15

Not me! Finally, this norwegian can see legacy coverage at a sane hour.

OR alternatively you could go to bed very early and get up very early.

Last time, itsjulian is kind enough to record the craziness in Japan and upload onto YouTube, perhaps someone also would do the same.

Who is the "other" commentator? Because he might actually be as terrible as Matthias Hunt.

Which one? Matej Zatlkaj (bearded guy), Marijn Lybaert (baby face) and Riley Knight (worst one there is). The first two have PT Top 8s under their belt, but they lack format knowledge.
e.g. Lybaert said you cannot Spell Pierce a Top and they don't know how removal on RiP works.

He probably means Riley Knight. I think he's pretty funny personally, but not very knowledgable of Legacy. At least it's not Marshall, he's utterly clueless.

This is the guy, and it's gone beyond just those things. Every sentence contains a reason to facepalm.

No surprise there. Hope we see a match with another deck just to mix things up.

Maybe they should hire you to do commentary on these streams.

Thankfully we did get to see Niklas Kronberger's Loam-deck, that was sweet. I'm already a bit bored looking at the coverage, it's just the same decks over and over again. Ironically this barrage of monotony keeps hitting the viewers while the commentators praise the diversity of the format.

    Make that money.

But seriously, I don't expect them to know the ins-and-outs of the format. Hell, I'd probably suck at in depth commentary as well. But you don't have to make blatantly false statements such as saying you can't target Top with Spell Pierce or saying someone has no lands in hand when they have clearly and repeatedly flashed three lands at you, and you don't have to give completely ridiculous strategic advice. I'm perfectly content listening to someone who just blandly repeats the board and who tells me what the cards with glare on them are or what the cards put back with Brainstorm are.

    edit: heyoooo kai's on.

And he's facing a 6-0 player playing Pithing Needle on LED. Urgh...

EDIT: He just tried to Stifle LED too...it hurts, it hurts!

thought Kai Budde ... was denied ... watching some pack mule pithing needle LED and stifle it in front of the whole world ... hopefully. BUG must truly be skill intensive for such a savant to be undefeated thus far. #donkeyformat.

To be fair, if you don't know the errata on LED (which removes the mana source and changes it to instant-speed only), then you might think, rather foolishly, that that is A Thing That You Can Do.

This is pretty bad. I'm debating turning it off.
