My brother and I have been running a large portion of Arizona's Legacy events for the past two years, in the form of the AZMagicPlayers.com Legacy Series. Just like last year (Last year's By the Numbers, for reference), it's been an incredible experience. Running the event involves watching a LOT of Legacy games (which is great, it's kind of like watching a livestream of 20-30 different Legacy matches at once! :) ), and we occasionally get to capture moments like this: http://i.imgur.com/KdYvIKV.jpg
I know Magic players love data, so one of the most exciting things about running the Legacy Series is gathering the data! We require decklists at all of our major events, so players always get the Top 8 decklists (and sometimes Top 16 if the event is big enough) and also a metagame breakdown. And just like last year, I wanted to compile a similar infographic of some interesting factoids throughout the year. So here it is:
You can also view all of the Top 8 decklists and metagame breakdown here: http://azmagicplayers.tumblr.com .
I'll be happy to answer any questions about our Legacy Series as well.

Man, that was so entertaining. Even with relatively small amounts of data, you made it fun.
"Anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job."
"Politicians are like diapers. They should be changed often and for the same reason."
"Governing is too important to be left to people as silly as politicians."
"Politicians were mostly people who'd had too little morals and ethics to stay lawyers."
These guys put tons of effort into their tournaments. Arizona legacy would be nothing without them.
"eggs... why'd it have to be eggs"
Lots of information, and very well presented. Thanks a lot for the data !
