Guess I wasn't too far off when I put this together 3 weeks ago :P

The seven cardinal sins of Legacy:
    1. Discuss the unbanning of Land Tax Earthcraft.
    2. Argue that banning Force of Will would make the format healthier.
    3. Play Brainstorm without Fetchlands.
    4. Stifle Standstill.
    5. Think that Gaea's Blessing will make you Solidarity-proof.
    6. Pass priority after playing Infernal Tutor.
    7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).

Let's keep posting references to movies Philipp hasn't seen . Dude, still can't believe you somehow dodged Pulp Fiction all your life. Next thing you tell me you also haven't seen Fear & Loathing. Legacy GP Las Vegas 2017, how does that sound?

A little non fact about the dance scene in Pulp Fiction is that Mia and Vincent don't actually win the competition. When they head home they got the trophy but later in the movie there's a barely noticeable commercial announcing the trophy had actually been stolen from the restaurant that night. It's tiny stuff like that, that makes me love Tarantino's movies even more.

sidenote: legacy GP in vegas could easily break 6.000 players.

If you’ve ever looked for a time to brew something up it’s today. The format is as open as you can wish for and there’s nothing too oppressing present at the current metagame.
Well, if you skip Counterbalance, I guess you're right.

Decks that aren't GBx splash green only because of CB. Decay fits well in Aluren because its BGx. But Reanimator doesn't need Green.

Being able to at least have some game vs Counterbalance is pretty much the one thing every deck is assumed to be able to do. It's pretty much on the same level as we assume you should have Lands that match the colour of your spells.

Exactly. One could call this "oppressing" when it comes to brewing.
