Just heard that he passed away. He always attends events and is a good sport with signing/altering cards. I wasn't sure about getting my power doodled on last year but it's too late now. He will be missed.
Looking for fbb duals (preferably German)

For those who don't know: He drew Black Lotus and all of the original five mana symbols
Also Wayne England died yesterday. It is a rough week for magic
Using Tapatalk
On top of that: he drew the Ice Age Brainstorm.
Here is a link with all cards: http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Se...r%20Rush%22%5D
He also drew the magic logo
He also Came up with the idea for full art lands
The last year or so has been pretty rough for nerds and weirdos in general. Two MTG artists, Bowie, Spock...
A few of my favorites by Christopher Rush. He will be missed.
Make Legacy Green Again
We lost the legend.
"You either die a Onesto-Player, or live long enough to see yourself become a Dredger"
Lightning bolt has been my favourite card of all time, basically since I began playing in '94.
His style was amazing.
RIP.
"You either die a Onesto-Player, or live long enough to see yourself become a Dredger"
Devastating loss for the community.
I am very glad to have him sign some of my cards including my 4th edition Korean Lightning Bolts and Forests. I wish I had brought my Japanese and Chinese Forests too. :(
Lovely chap.

Couldnīt believe it when I read this this morning on fb
Wayne England 2 days ago and today Chrisopher...Too sad!
I wanted to send my Brainstorms & Lightning Bolts to Scott Mosser for the GP Washington where Christopher would have been, but now I will never get signed cards by him

Completely agree. I wanted to get a set of super friends brainstorm alters from him but didn't pull the trigger thinking he would be back at my next GP. That's what I get for taking it for granted. Kind of makes me want to play my FBB signed bolts and Ice Age Brainstorms at legacy this week.
Yeah, it's a bummer about both. Like anyone who got into MtG in the 90s, I've always liked Christopher Rush. Wayne England I also associated with Warhammer, as his art was in a bunch of the WHFB and 40K army books I had in middle school. Sad to see them go.
This is crazy, add this to all the celebrities who have already died this year and now 2 of the biggest artists in magic history. The end of days are upon us!
Interesting to note that he was active on social media just the day before his death, he was talking on social media about going to GPDC, which is a month out. So it seems like whatever took him did so suddenly.
I was planning to get my newly acquired beta bolts signed next weekend :/
