So right now I have 7 Legacy decks put together, which seems gratuitous. Does anyone have tips on selling off entire decks? My thoughts/assumptions/questions so far:
- I imagine using a FB group is the way to go.
- If I pieced them out I might get more money for the big ticket items (e.g. duals), but less/nothing for the little stuff (e.g. cantrips).
- On the flip side, how often do people actually buy whole decks? $500-1500 is a lot of money up-front.
- I assume I'd want to sell local, so I can do an in-person exhange.
- How much of a loss can I expect? For instance, if I value a deck at $700 off of TCG prices, should I expect to sell it for 75%, 50%, etc?
(For those interested, I'm considering parting ways with Grixis Delver, High Tide, and Belcher.)
(Maybe I searched poorly, but I didn't find existing topics on this.)

It's not perfect but it's a place. Also I suggest Facebook and if you can, local Legacy scenes. Both work well.
You are unlikely to sell complete decks. People who do not have a deck and what one tend to build over time. Be willing to split them into pieces and sell over time.
If you sell on the site here, remember to keep all talk to PM's. It might happen, has before.
Yeah. Also keep in mind that much of selling is dependent upon how much time you're willing to put into selling it. The more time, the greater the return.
Sell of >$20 cards as singles, bundle the rest.
If i was buying a whole deck, id pay 70-80% of value i suppose.
