    Grafdigger's Cage question

Hi, suppose I only have one creature in my deck, Emrakul, the Aeons Torn. I have a Proteus Staff in play as well as a token and my opponent has a Grafdigger's Cage in play. I target my token with Proteus' staff ability and the ability resolves. What happens: do I stop revealing cards once I revealed Emrakul (I think I do, but I'm not sure)? In case I don't, can I stack my deck? What happens to Emrakul, does it go on bottom with the rest of the cards? Same question with Polymorph, what happens to Emrakul (I assume the answer is the same, just want to make sure)?

    Thanks a lot!

Interesting question. I'm pretty sure Emrakul stays the top card of your library while the rest of the cards go on the bottom as usual. Same thing with Polymorph. Since the card will attempt to do as much as it can. You can pretty much just take out the phrase about the creature entering the battlefield and do the rest.
"Anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job."
"Politicians are like diapers. They should be changed often and for the same reason."
"Governing is too important to be left to people as silly as politicians."
"Politicians were mostly people who'd had too little morals and ethics to stay lawyers."

The way Oath of Druids and Grafdigger's Cage interact is interesting. If the player chooses to resolve the Oath trigger, they will reveal cards until they reveal a creature and those cards will go to the graveyard with the creature remaining on top of the library!
It is better to ask and look stupid then keep your mouth shut and remain so.

Cool, thanks! So, in the Polymorph case, would I shuffle everything except Emrakul and then leave it on top or would Emrakul get shuffled as well?

With polymorph, Emrakul gets shuffled in with the rest of the library.

Edit: To clarify - Emrakul never leaves the library, so it gets caught in the shuffle.

The important thing to keep in mind is that when you reveal cards in a library their position does not change. With Proteus Staff, technically, you would reveal the top card of your library, then without changing the position of that card, reveal the second card in the library, and so on.

Of course, in practice, most people find it easier to "mill" the cards face-up into a separate pile. Since you will eventually rearrange the cards anyway, it doesn't really matter how you physically do it.
