There is so much effort in this set to "Meld" the design, but it only shows up on 3 rares, a mythic, and 2 black commons?
Color me jaded, but what's the fucking point of this design space if they literally burned it on hype?
This game is looking everyday more like YuGiOh.

Seems fun with Isochron scepter! But yah like 100 other cards...
Maybe a card for storm vs heatbears?
“Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn.
Meld seems bad. Turning 2 cards in their sleeves and then trying to keep them together as one creature when tapping it and stuff. Also, that the Meld-creature is bigger than your other creatures looks weird.
And it's too much Yu-gi-oh (or something) and not MtG.
true
Spell-Bounce is not a counterspell. And this is not a Remand either.
Still, some combo-deck might find it useful.
It's a cool card, but I don't think it's beating out Submerge given the ability to shuffle away a Goyf. Reasonable card in a Snapcaster deck I guess.
Uncounterable spells it can hit which matter are Decay, your own Flusterstorm, potentially some eldrazi cast off a Cavern of Souls. I'm sure I've missed some, but the real tragedy is that it doesn't really stop [old] Emrakul.
I'm surprised there isn't!
With my first literation of high tide the first night I tried it ibhad an opponent with a silence on a stick. It was tough but I powered through and beat him.
I tapped out his lands at end of turn because he was using the silencestick during my upkeep.
He had a counterspell he never used for some unknown reason but I had an answer to it.
I went off the next turn ftw.
Still no idea why he never used the counterspell.
FWIW, this page has some info regarding the new versions of kicker.

Brisela sure looks like a great reanimate / SNT target

Final Iteration
Creature - Eldrazi Insect
Flying
Wizards you control get +2/+1 and have flying.
Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell, put a 1/1 blue Human Wizard creature token onto the battlefield.
6/5
I don't think either of them is really playable in Legacy, due to cost, but I could see both of them as possibles elsewhere.
EDIT: I a word on the green card. Fixed now.
So Docent of Perfection is basically SSJ3 Delver that shits out further Delvers. Kinda cool in terms in flavor.
A shame the flavor text on the front side isn't "And this is going even further beyond!"
That name is horrible. All I can picture is an insect leading children and seniors through a museum. "Buzzbuzz and here we have a skeleton of the once thought to be extinct kavu. A very rare specimen donated by our wealthy Tolarian benefactor, one Mr. Urza. Excuse me, Squee, is it? The museum has a strict no touching policy. And we're walking, buzzbuzz."
Another possible flavor text for the transformed side - "STOP BUGGING ME!".
Or "Now, to work out these contraptions..."
Making the "insectile aberration" into an eldrazi seems pretty poor from a flavor perspective.
FWIW, the back side is called "Closing Experiment" in German, so unless that translation is official the English name could still change.
