    Legacy in Seattle?

I'm gonna be in Seattle October 4 - 6 while my wife has a conference there. Considering it's the birthplace of Magic, I thought I might try to play Legacy while I'm in town. Can anyone recommend a good spot for Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday night Legacy?

I saw that Mox Boarding House does Thursday nights, but they're in Bellevue and I won't have a car. I could always Uber over, if it's worth the trip.

I was in Seattle for PAX and we stayed in Bellevue, so MBH was a 5 min car ride. We neglected it until the day of my flight, but it was amazing. My friends didn't play MTG, so we just checked out a couple board games and had some great food and beer while we were playing.

Not sure how the tournaments work there (i.e. are they in the restaurant where you could eat/drink and play?), but for free board game play it was amazing! Really awesome nerd haven.

They have a more generic table room in the back for tournaments.

If you're coming all the way from Texas to Seattle, it's worth it to go just a little bit farther and make it to the eastside to see Mox Boarding House. It's a very impressive operation. Thursday nights is a tournament doubleheader: Modern at 6:30 and Legacy at 7. $10 entry, four rounds of Swiss.

Cheers guys! Mox Boarding House looked cool from the website, so I'm glad people here could validate that impression. I'll plan on heading over there and going 0-4.

Are you able to take a beer back there?

I believe liquor has to stay in the restaurant area. People usually hit up the bar and restaurant before and/or after the tournament. There's also a sizable non-Magic crowd that congregates in the restaurant and other areas.
