    Deciding between 2 decks

    Hello All,

I'm trying to decide between Reanimator or Sneak and Show
Which one is more resistant to hate cards?
Which one is better in a unknown / open field like SCG opens?

I think UB Reanimator is much cooler and "classier" as it has a long tradition in Magic per se.

But judging by the categories you listed, definitely go with Sneak Show, using a list with Omniscience. It plays around hate much better than Reanimator. Both are respectable strong decks, but Sneak Show is quite a lot stronger.
The seven cardinal sins of Legacy:
    1. Discuss the unbanning of Land Tax Earthcraft.
    2. Argue that banning Force of Will would make the format healthier.
    3. Play Brainstorm without Fetchlands.
    4. Stifle Standstill.
    5. Think that Gaea's Blessing will make you Solidarity-proof.
    6. Pass priority after playing Infernal Tutor.
    7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).

Sneak is one of the few decks that naturally has a good MU against Miracles and is a good choice against most decks, a tuned list can beat taxes but if you ignore the mu you are likely to lose it.
Reanimator struggles against miracles, taxes and is not easy to face deathrite shaman + disruption.

Also, is fair to say that currently any graveyard based decks is kinda bad because most players are playing a ton of hate (and to be more specific, free, and uncounterable hate) to be prepared against BR Reanimator, so it's not wise to pick such decks at the moment.

Despite what I said, UB Reanimator is probably one of the deck with the best blowout, you can literally autowin a lot of games, sneak has way less free games than reanimator for sure.

I would rather dump my money into Sneak and Show then an UB Reanimator list. [Which is the better version compared to the RB in my opinion.]

As noted by the other poster, people started loading up on GY hate again after the RB list popped on the radar.

Sneak and show in harder to hate in general. As an Elves/DnT/Enchantress player I much rather face Reanimator then S&S.

I personally tested the UB reanimator list for a while with my friend group, one thing that stood out from our testing is that in general, it seems to be quite hard to get the blue card to pitch to FOW compared to the other test decks we play. I don't know if this was a flux, we played around 25-30 games with the deck.

I do have to make a little sidenote though, if you have no Legacy cards. And thus need to buy the true duals, the underground sea's tend to open up more options for you later on to change your deck from Reanimator to something else. Volcanics allow you to go UR Delver.

If your new to legacy, and playing at a local shop with lets say <20 players. Im pretty sure that you will try to make a 2nd Legacy deck later on so people don't auto assume that your on the same deck time after time and thus mull their hands accordingly. [forcing them to keep a more generic balanced hand.]

There's also an argument which is valid regarding investing towards other decks.

Underground seas and potential bayous or trops can lead to a lot more decks than volcanic Islands and city of traitors.

UB reanimtor for me is a boring deck to play - very linear, and the hate you're likely to face is usually terminal if you can't counter it.
This deck plays Show from the side for a reason....
Strong deck, but it repulses me just due to the fact that it's so auto-pilot in nature.

Show is the better choice here IMHO, it's more fun and has more possibilities with how you may want to warp/tweak the deck.
You'll get a lot more joy out of this one, and more longevity due to different way you can take it.

All that said, both decks share quite a few cards, so you may as well build BOTH
