    A tribute to today...

    12 years, 6 months, 24 days.

(this also cost me about $40.00, literally burned money)

It's too difficult to burn magic cards, wotc needs to get its act together and use more flammable material.
    Tusk up.
(Not so) Current Decks: GB Elves, GW Maverick, GWb Maverick, LED Dredge, ANT, TES, Jund Storm.

I have played miracles (poorly) almost exclusively since 2013. I was pretty unfazed by today's announcement since I can still put together a ton of decks with my collection.

But for some reason, that video made me really sad...

How does this ban affect you, Feline?

I know you played Counter-Top in High Tide for a while. On the other hand Miracles was a very hard match.

Also, flash paper? Do you do illusions or fire performance? I used to be a magician, juggler, fire eater, escape artist. Thinking if getting back into it lately.

I love the Karns Flooded Strand. It would have to be thinking "Dad? What the hell is going on? I just meet these people."

I am ok with the ban from the high tide perspective, losing sensei's top in my deck is much less damaging, compared to having to never face miracles counterbalance again.

Having said that, I wish they didn't ban top, I am actually ok with the card, and it's not fair to miracles players that knew what they were doing.

I'm not a big fan of the decision myself, but I hope we can you at the top tables a little more now.

Cards can be unbanned, but they can't be unburned.

at 0:54 seconds into the video the top actually looks kinda cool burned. It's a shame that its completely unplayable. From an alteration stand point I could see something like that being requested.

To be fair, you're supposed to build a sizable pyre underneath it and light it with an arrow from afar.
I think the biggest thing is the deep seeded emotional understanding that the right play is the right play regardless of outcomes. The ability to make a decision 5 straight times, lose 5 times because of it, and still make it the 6th time if it's the right play. - Jon Finkel
