    [Minneapolis] 1st Annual PTR (Peter Szigeti) Memorial Open@Lodestone Games (05/02/17)

    To honor the passing of one of the early greats of the Pro Tour, there will be an open tournament held on Tuesday, May 2nd at Lodestone Games. The format will be proxy Vintage, with the winner receiving a box of orange Dragon Shield card sleeves (100ct). Begins at 6pm.

    was this also PTR on e-league #apprentice IRC stuff back in the day?

    The tournament ended up being a resounding success, quite a fun night of Vintage. I ended up in 2nd with Punishing Oath, losing out to MUD with the new(ish) Crew Slash Panther. Someone even brought a placard in honor of PTR that now sits permanently on display at the store:
