Bonus round gets you huge mana with very few cards and pairs extremely well with burning wish.

Going to need to try Underworld Breach in this deck. I just played a handful of games on modo in the practice room and I think even though it's not infinite it could function as a 1 or 2 of powerful effect.
I don't really enjoy this deck with paper, but am totally fine playing it on modo.

Underworld Breach seems win-more. What lines are there where the 2(or 1) mana to cast, plus the desired spells affect are going to turn a maybe situation into an adventageous(sp) one?
Tl,dr; if casting for profit, was likely going to win anyway. The escape clause of 3 is the downside, that's a lot. Only in situations where we went for it and whiffed, but haven't yet died can it conceivably be good. But how long was it in hand collecting dust first?
I think pyromancer's ascension is a better 2 mana enchantment, plus that doesn't self-sacrifice- screaming all-in fragility.
It's more for versions that are heavily reliant on Reforge the Soul.

I ended up trading, on a whim, into 3x Mox Opal recently. Is there a way to utilize it in this deck? I don't have LED's, which has been fine, I just don't know how to best turn on Opal. Lotus Petal and Ruby Medallion is a decent start at 8 artifacts. Defense Grid is a potential maindeck inclusion for protection to get the artifact count higher as well. I'm still looking to keep it mono-Red. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

I am not sure about that. I tried Mox Opal quite a bit in earlier builds and wasn't able to find a great way to utilize the mana. Your best bet with Mox Opal is to find more of an empty the warrens heavy build since you can vomit better on turn 1. I would also consider great furnace and darksteel citadel to increase your artifact count. chrome mox is also an option but i'm not crazy about it. scroll rack can also be used as a 1 of, i like it with reforge the soul.
been tinkering around with it a bit more. sb is not firm. still undecided if i want 3 RoF in the md or 4 in the maindeck. if it goes to 3, then 3 RoF and 1 Desperate Ritual, and a hazoret's for the sb.

Without LED, how often does it net you more gas than the draw spells/Hazoret would?
the ability to recycle LED into a burning wish is pretty solid. act on impulse into breach with an LED in hand or also flipping LED starts a game. reforge the soul allows you to recycle a bunch of times, especially when a ruby is out it's pretty easy to cast.

I've been out of the game for more than a minute, Wrenn & Six was a thing, and not a thing since I last played.
What's a general sense of the game? Planning on playing in a tourney in the Northeast soon, debating between this and a dredge variant. What is out there to expect, what does Oko do that I may or may not care about (aside from turning rubies into elk) or another flavor of the day? i think ignite is too expensive to run 4. i'd prob try 4 act on impulse and 4 luts and then 2 ignite, then add another bolt. i'd even argue you can move the confluence to the sb and run the 4th bolt. i also like 4 bonus round maindeck, so i'd prob just play 1 ignite maindeck.
i can try this build next time i record some matches.
