Proxy guidelines: As this event prominently features coverage, proxied cards will be held to a much higher standard. Proxies should, in general, be existing cards with the text modified to reflect the actual oracle text of the proxied cards. For moxen, the colors of each should be clearly identifiable (modifying the Diamond cycle from Mirage or Tempest / C14 Medallions, for instance.) For dual lands, modifying another two-colored land is preferred.

Proxies are at the discretion of the head judge and may be disallowed if they are not clear across the table.

If you have free entry, please sign up as normal, then use promo code FREE. Also, include where your entry came from in the registration form. (Abuse of this form may result in being permanently unable to play in TOAMagic.com events.)

just curious, since when have proxies been allowed in tournaments? I would imagine the tournament has to be sanctioned to be a qualifying tournament?

WOTC stance on Proxies. The article is not written the best but states that

Our stated policy specifically applies to DCI-sanctioned events. Cards used in DCI-sanctioned events must be authentic Magic cards. The only exception is if a card has become damaged during the course of play in a particular event (for instance, a shuffling accident bends a card or a drink gets spilled); in that case a judge may issue a proxy for use only for the duration of that event so the player can continue playing.

Wizards of the Coast has no desire to police playtest cards made for personal, non-commercial use, even if that usage takes place in a store.

What we really care about is that DCI-sanctioned events use only authentic Magic cards, and that we stop counterfeits.
    Play 4 Card Blind!

appreciate your concern but it's unwarranted. the legacy portion is sanctioned(as stated). the vintage portion allows playtest cards. pretty simple.

There are a few errors in the posted lists, such as Patrick's burn list having Monastery Mentor (instead of Swiftspear, I assume), Michael Mapson being erronously listed as #12 (should be Brendan McGrail), and Warren's list at #14 probably not being Moon Stompy (I played against Anthony at#10 and that appears to be his list). There may be others.

You assume correctly. It is also missing 3 Bloodstained Mires.
