I echo OP's sentiments and am making similar movements.

I too have my guitars but am now spending my hobby time/money with old milsurp rifles. There is something very nice about a hobby where you don't need to interact with another human being, let me tell you.

@ what guitar - primarily I've played an Ibanez Talman on stage. As with most of my gear it was a gift, and this was a gift from the mother of my first child (almost 17 years ago, jfc). Recently my brother gave me an Epiphone Les Paul, I've wanted an LP for a very long time and now that I have one I'm almost too busy to play it, between working full-time and opposing shifts from my wife, as well as being dad to my 3.5 year old. Fortunately I can keep a guitar at the office so I'll use my break time to like search for a Troy Grady video and practice some of that shreddy right-hand stuff.
