    White Weenie

Hi guys. I'm really fairly new with Magic so pleaae bear with me. I was building this deck before but I stopped after my first game. I can't remember how I came upon this deck but I do remember building this as a white weenie. I already have the actual cards so there. If there is any possible way of completing/tweaking without much replacing I'd appreciate that but I'd also want to make it competetive if possible but without spending much. Cheers here is the full deck

    2x Shimmering Grotto
    19x Plains
    4x Doomed Traveler
    4x Leonin Skyhunter
    2x Roc Egg
    4x Elite Vanguard
    4x Gideon's Lawkeeper
    4x Cloistered Youth
    4x Armored Warhorse
    4x Inquisitor Exarch
    3x Spectral Rider
    1x Siege Mastodon
    1x Benalish Veteran
    1x Accorder Paladin
    1x Pride Guardian
    1x Arbalest Elite
    2x Gideon's Avenger
    1x Lifelink

I would still love to have major comments so I could tweak ot for tournaments, but I would just like to check this deck for casual gaming atm

This is what a competitive white weenie deck looks like:

    http://mtgtop8.com/event?e=18772&d=317430&f=MO

If you don't have the budget for Aether Vial, then I suggest playing a deck heavily based on 1-drops:

    Kytheon, Hero of Akros
    Elite Vanguard
    Mardu Woe-Reaper
    Soldier of the Pantheon
    Dryad Militant
    Champion of the Parish

    Then play boosting effects like:

    Honor of the Pure
    Accorder Paladin
    Thalia's Lieutenant
    Veteran Swordsmith
    Veteran Armorer

    Finally, round it out with:

    4x Path to Exile
    18-20x Plains

    Tentative Sideboard:

    2x Stony Silence
    2x Rest in Peace
    2x Relic of Progenitus
    4x Blessed Alliance
    2x Sunlance
    3x Damping Sphere

Good luck! Looks like a human soldier synergy is fairly strong, and relatively affordable. I understand you probably want to use the cards you have already, but in a competitive environment, even Friday Night Magic, it will struggle.

    Re: White Weenie

The deck is perfectly fine as a casual deck, provided your opponents are using the same methodology. If you face off against a competitive deck you'll likely lose frequently, but if your opponent's did the same sourcing (packs, etc.) then it should be pretty even.

If nothing else, this is my advice: invest in some good removal (Path to Exile) and read up on agro deck strategy. And just play a ton of games; you'll discover quickly which are your best opening hands and which ones were clunky. Work towards building your deck based on your best opening hands.
