Really interesting list. Collective Brutality should be excellent. Have you considered Buried Alive or Entomb? I'm assuming one of your main plans is Varolz + Death's Shadow.

I feel like this is the type of deck that gets hot gas from cards like brainstorm and faithless looting. COBRU is step 1 though.

Why not things like street wraith/mull drifter? you got the shriekmaw thing going for you. I like it a lot.

Thanks! I do want to run a heavy gy version soon with entomb/multiple oaths/spore frog/many many ways to get rid of drs. Street wraith works well in this version probably. Though...on Tuesday I'm leaning towards a less gy version with oath as a situational enlightened tutor target. Something like:

Edit: I think I need grisly salvage or something like it to turn on mongoose.

    4 Leyline of the Void
    2 helm of obedience
    1 oath of ghouls
    2 enlightened tutor
    3 collective brutality
    1 bitterblossom
    1 oblivion ring
    1 leyline of sanctity
    1 sylvan library
    4 swords to plowshares
    2 grisly salvage

    2 green Sun's Zenith
    1 deathrite shaman
    1 Scavenging Ooze
    1 dryad arbor
    1 Birds of Paradise
    1 tireless tracker
    1 Varolz
    3 nimble mongoose
    3 deaths shadow
    2 asylum visitor
    2 phyrexian revoker

    4 windswept heath
    3 marsh flats
    1 verdant catacombs
    3 swamp
    1 plains
    1 forest
    2 overgrown tomb
    2 temple garden
    1 wb shock
    1 phyrexian tower
    2 ghost quarter

    SB:
    4 Thoughtseize
    3 abrupt decay
    2 engineered plague
    2 choke
    1 aegis of honor
    1 helm of obedience
    1 xantid swarm
    1 ethersworn canonist

Theres a 2/1 flyer for 1W in the new set with the Tormod's Crypt ability. Seems pretty sick in an Oath of Ghouls deck.

Yeah that is sweet...I'll definitely try some oath list with it.

So I didn't play magic last week but tried out the dumpster fire below to an 0-3 drop tonight. Lost to food chain where md leyline make their dudes invincible, bizarro stormy g3 Echoing truthed my leylines, then got crushed by turbo depths. Vessel is to turn on mongoose.

well it depends if you count style points. It's a two card combo that does nothing to stop deathrite shaman.
