    Legacy playables from recent sets

Sup, returning from a Magic hiatus of a year or two.

I'm a "Tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire" kinda guy, so I like to play eternal Legacy with some new cards. Can ppl fill me in on what's come out fairly recently that's Legacy playable?

It doesn't have to be a 4-of in a DTB; I just like to see cool new shit. e.g. I've seen Sorcerous Spyglass, Stitcher's Supplier, Abrade, and Search for Azcanta. No need to be exhaustive either; anything will help me get filled in.

Goblin Trashmaster M19. A better Tuk Tuk Scrapper essentially.

Karn, Scion of Urza. Dominaria. So far I've seen it only in Dragon Stompy lists. In a GP winning list too.

Blood Sun. Rivals. I've seen it occasionally in Red Stompy and/or Sneak Red lists.

Dire Fleet Daredevil. Rivals. RW Death and Taxes.

Silent Gravestone. Rivals. I think there will be less of this one since Deathrite Shaman is gone.

Gideon of The Trials. Hazoret, the Fervent.

That's what I can think of off the top of my head.

Brightling is the new darling of DnT players
Early one morning while making the round,
    I took a shot of cocaine and I shot my woman down;
I went right home and I went to bed,
I stuck that lovin' .44 beneath my head.

For D&T the following cards are also from new sets:
    - Shalai, voice of plenty has been played as a 2 of max and is a candidate for the flex slot (probably out of date now)
    - Remorseful Cleric is a candidate for the main deck (currently polayed as a two of also)
    - Dire Fleet Daredevil in the RW versions of D&T as a two of also

    For other decks:

    - Isn't Hollow one played in dredge? (or maybe this is in vintage only thanks to bazar of Bagdad)
    - arena rector in Nic Fit
    - alpine moon in sideboard of goblins.
    - arcane artisan is a sideboard card for sneak and show.

Collective Brutality sees play in reanimator, pox, and some junk/deadguy/nic fit lists. It isn't commonly played, but it isn't really rare either. Smuggler's Copter sees fringe play in Imperial Painter.

Don't think I saw Renegade Rallier, used in Maverick sometimes, or Magus of the Mind, who gave rise to the new deck Bizarro Stormy (a Tin Fins type of deck based on the new Magus).

Nor did I see Tireless Tracker who is used in Lands' sideboard, Nic Fit and Maverick. Not sure if that's too old for the topic.

As Foretold has enabled a few new experimental archetypes, most notably making suspend cards like Ancestral Visions and the Balance-variant much better.

Leovold, Emissary of Trest was released two years ago now. Used in BUG control decks, sometimes in Nic Fit and Maverick. Any deck that can, basically.

I’m surprised mission briefing didn’t make any lists. It works like snapcaster, except it allows alternate casting costs. Digs for 2 too. That double blue is a bit of a pain though. I’m testing it in solidarity, and it’s been good so far.

Guilds of Ravnica was released in October. This thread is from July.

It's an interresting exercise anyway to do it for Guilds of Ravnica and older sets if new old cards are used in a deck.

Queen Marchesa from Conspiracy 2 is now used in 4C loam (as a one of thought).
Creeping chill from Guilds of Ravnica is used in dredge.
Assassin's trophy in various BGx builds.

Goblin Cratermaker has been well worth the inclusion in Shortcake, as of late.
I wouldn't be surprised if Goblins was running it as well.

Just about every Goblins player is running it.

It's just really good value. 2/2 for 1R. Creature type Goblin. Survives -1/-1 effects. Casts Tarfire. Kills Emrakul, Ensnaring Bridge, Jitte, Batterskull, Thought-Knot Seer, Needle / Revoker, Aether Vial, mana rocks, random combo pieces, ...

I’ve seen Grixis delver lists with this guy main board. He’s the real deal.

Oh nice, I bought a foil Marchesa a while ago because I thought the card was amazing, just didn't have a home! And I love supplemental sets.

On Cratermaker, They've been printing way too many artifact hate cards lately. Hope it stops.

Revitalize isn't played in legacy yet, but I can see this is control sideboards against burn.
