Sorry, completely forgot what day it was. Sent in a terrible list just now.

Ohh fuck. Was sure treetop village was banned now. Would've taken that over forest if I had known I could.

    Re: 4 Card Blind

Treetop Village is uncommon, unlike Forest.

Huh, I played turn 1 control because I expected more turn 2 decks like
    -Channel (using basic Forest)
    -Infect
    -Pillage/other LD

I was debating playing a storage land ramp deck or loop deck like Serene Rememberance, but they lost too hard to the DTB turn 2 decks. Channel would have cleaned up here.

I'll have to do my matchups later.

Off the top it looks like I 6-0 jhhdk, Wrath, Gobbo, Reep, alpha and silk and 3-3 Vial
    Lose to both Treetops
At worst draw dte and H, might have a winning line.
    43-ish points?

    Re: 4 Card Blind

Asthereal's scores for the las round:

    1. Asthereal (TO): Treetop Village, Golgari Rot Farm, Gathan Raiders, Basking Rootwalla
That's me, uninspiredly copying my deck from last round.
    2. jhhdk: Forest, Golgari Rot Farm, Broken Fall, Ochran Assassin
Your deck is really good against my normal guys, but the Village doesn't have to block your guy. Still, if you keep your guy back, I can't attack, so two draws. 2-2
    3. dte: Rugged highlands, Vitality charm, Lightning Axe, Serene remembrance
Math needed! See below. EDIT: Nope, I lose both. Tight game OTP though. 0-6
    4. Wrath of Pie: Mountain, Crystal Vein, Geomancer's Gambit, Kris Mage
OTP I can make Walla for the draw. OTD you destroy my Village before I get to do anything. 1-4
    5. GoblinSmashmaster: Geothermal Crevice, Forest, Dark Deal, Basking Rootwalla
Walla staredown is drawish. Nice combo deck though, after 23 rounds of bannathon. 2-2
    6. Reeplcheep: Swamp, Pharika’s Chosen, Cauldron Familiar, Witch’s Oven
You can block the Village with the deathtoucher, but then I can attack with a pumped Walla and a 5/5 Raider into one recurring chumper. You can chip at my life total once per turn that way, but I'll do 2 damage (well, 3, but you gain 1 as well). I win that race, I think. 6-0
    7. alphastryk: Swamp, Encroach, Ruthless Ripper, Festering Mummy
    Deck bad against Encroach. 0-6
    8. silkster: Forest, Mountain, Orcish Lumberjack, Acidic Slime
Deck also bad against T2 Slime, as Walla is only 1/1. 0-6
    9. FTW: Island, Zulaport Duelist, Force Spike, Dismember
You can Spike my Raiders and Dismember my Village, but a pumped Walla still beats the Duelist. 6-0
    10. Tylert: Aether vial, Island, Faceless butcher, Qasali pridemage
Butcher eats Raiders, Raiders can attack as a 3/4 with exalted, but I can double block. Math below. 4-1
    11. H: Mountain, Reckless Waif, Forge Devil, Branded Brawlers
My team is quite big, even if you use Devil to kill my Walla. 6-0
    12. maxx!: Treetop Village, Selesnya Sanctuary, Silhana Ledgewalker, Armadillo Cloak
    A Cloacked Ledgewalker races my 5/5. 0-6

    Total: 27 points

    Against dte, OTP:
    A: Village
    d: Highland, d=21
    A: Farm, bounce Village
    d: Wait
    A: Village
    d: still wait
A: Make Raiders, discard Walla to make it 5/5, EOT Axe my Raiders, discarding Charm
d: Remembrance, shuffle back all. Library is now T>B Remembrance, Charm, Axe
    A: Make Village a guy, attack for 4, d=17
    d: Draw Remembrance
    A: Attack for 4, d=13
    d: Draw Charm
EDIT A: Attack with Village only, d=10 (otherwise you can cast Charm for a 1/1 and trade with Walla)
    d: Draw Axe
A: Attack with Village, Axe Village, discarding Charm
d: Remembrance, shuffle back all. Library is now T>B Remembrance, Charm, Axe.
A: Attack with pumped Walla, d=7
    d: Draw Remembrance
A: Attack with pumped Walla, d=4
    d: Draw Charm
A: Attack with pumped Walla, d=1
d: Draw Axe, kill the Walla and win.

Against dte OTD - this time you can go for the early Charm:
    d: Highland, d=21
    A: Village
    d: Charm, make 1/1
    A: Farm, bounce Village
d: Remembrance, shuffle back both. Library is now T>B Remembrance, Charm
    A: Village
    d: Draw Remembrance
A: Make Raiders, discard Walla to make it 5/5
d: Draw Charm, Axe the Raiders, discarding Charm. Keep 1/1 back for defence against Walla
A: Attack with just Village, d=18
d: Remembrance, shuffle back all. Library is now T>B Remembrance, Charm, Axe.
A: Attack with just Village, d=15
    d: Draw Remembrance
A: Attack with just Village, d=12
    d: Draw Charm
A: Attack with just Village, d=9
    d: Draw Axe
A: Attack with just Village, Axe Vilage, discarding Charm
d: Remembrance, shuffle back all. Library is now T>B Remembrance, Charm, Axe.
A: Attack with pumped Walla, d=6
    d: Draw Remembrance
A: Attack with pumped Walla, d=3
    d: Draw Charm
A: Attack with pumped Walla, chump with 1/1
d: Draw Axe, Axe the Walla, discarding Charm. Win from here.
    0-6

    Against Tylert, OTD:
    T: Island, Vial
    A: Village
    T: V=1
    A: Farm, bounce Village
    T: V=2, make Pridemage
    A: Village
    T: V=3, attack for 3, A=17
A: Make Raiders, discard Walla to make it 5/5
T: V=4, make Butcher, eat the Raiders, attack for 3, A=14
A: We can both attack for 3 per turn or 4 per turn, but I'm lower on life, so I wait.
T: If you attack, I can double block and kill the Butcher, or just block the Pridemage with a pumped Walla. So you also wait, and nobody does anything anymore for the draw.

    Against Tylert, OTP:
    A: Village
    T: Island, Vial
    A: Farm, bounce Village
    T: V=1
    A: Village
    T: V=2, make Pridemage
A: Make Raiders, discard Walla to make it 5/5
    T: V=3
A: Attack with pumped Walla and Raiders, T=12
T: V=4, make Butcher, eat the Raiders.
A: Now we have the same situation as OTD, but now I have more life than you, so I can attack with a 3/3 and win the race.
    So that's 4-1 for me.

    Re: 4 Card Blind

    1. Asthereal (TO): Treetop Village, Golgari Rot Farm, Gathan Raiders, Basking Rootwalla
6-0. Tentative, see maths below: I think I win by casting the second charm early.
    6

    2. jhhdk: Forest, Golgari Rot Farm, Broken Fall, Ochran Assassin
6-0. axe the assassin in response to broken fall.
    12

    3. dte: Rugged highlands, Vitality charm, Lightning Axe, Serene remembrance
Me. Not the best idea I had.

    4. Wrath of Pie: Mountain, Crystal Vein, Geomancer's Gambit, Kris Mage
    1-4 I guess.
    13

    5. GoblinSmashmaster: Geothermal Crevice, Forest, Dark Deal, Basking Rootwalla
    1-4 idem.
    14

    6. Reeplcheep: Swamp, Pharika’s Chosen, Cauldron Familiar, Witch’s Oven
0-6 I think. Looks like looong maths. I had a deck like that, but with Mortician Beetle instead of pharika's chosen.
    14

    7. alphastryk: Swamp, Encroach, Ruthless Ripper, Festering Mummy
    3-3 against Encroach.deck
    17

    8. silkster: Forest, Mountain, Orcish Lumberjack, Acidic Slime
    3-3 against lumberjack.deck.
    20

    9. FTW: Island, Zulaport Duelist, Force Spike, Dismember
    2-2.
    22

    10. Tylert: Aether vial, Island, Faceless butcher, Qasali pridemage
6-0. Kill the two creatures and win from there.
    28

    11. H: Mountain, Reckless Waif, Forge Devil, Branded Brawlers
6-0. Kill the Waif, then wait for making a token at the end of one turn.
    34

    12. maxx!: Treetop Village, Selesnya Sanctuary, Silhana Ledgewalker, Armadillo Cloak
0-6. I cannot deal with an enchanted Ledgewalker.

    d: Draw Remembrance
    A: Attack for 4, d=13
    d: Draw Charm
    A: Attack for 4, d=9
From here I can win by playing charm:
    d: Draw Charm
A: Attack for 4, d play charm, chump walla, d=10
d: draw axe, play SR (top SR, bottom charm)
    A: attack, d=7
    d: draw SR
    A: attack, d=4
d: draw axe --> Win with one turn buffer.

I thought most of the LD was gone... bad calculation!
And I guess early congratulations to Silkster for the season!
I really like the card orcish lumberjack. I would have been afraid of relying so much on a 1/1 due to metagaming against poison.deck

    6. Reeplcheep: Swamp, Pharika’s Chosen, Cauldron Familiar, Witch’s Oven
Me jamming my favourite terrible deck because its my last chance.

    1. Asthereal (TO): Treetop Village, Golgari Rot Farm, Gathan Raiders, Basking Rootwalla
I think you are right OTD, but I am able to get to 2x your lifetotal OTP. WL. 3-3 math below.

    2. jhhdk: Forest, Golgari Rot Farm, Broken Fall, Ochran Assassin
Disagreement here. I can just chump your ochran forever until I drain you out. WW 6-0.

    3. dte: Rugged highlands, Vitality charm, Lightning Axe, Serene remembrance
Axe is pretty useless here. I think a token every other turn does outrace me though. 0-6

    4. Wrath of Pie: Mountain, Crystal Vein, Geomancer's Gambit, Kris Mage
You can only ping my deathtoucher if you don't LD me. My combo doesn't care about the second ping. WD 4-1.

    5. GoblinSmashmaster: Geothermal Crevice, Forest, Dark Deal, Basking Rootwalla
If you let me assemble my combo you lose; so you lose when I am OTP. OTD, you must dark deal t2. My 1/1 has the advantage in the race, so we draw. WD 4-1.

    7. alphastryk: Swamp, Encroach, Ruthless Ripper, Festering Mummy
You can't interact with my combo. WW 6-0.

    8. silkster: Forest, Mountain, Orcish Lumberjack, Acidic Slime
    OTP everything trades. DL. 1-4

    9. FTW: Island, Zulaport Duelist, Force Spike, Dismember
You lose if you can't force spike the oven. ( I can use the oven to turn the deathtoucher into a cat). OTD I can't attack with the deathtoucher without getting blown out by the etb, but if you waste the etb you would lose the race. So no one does anything. WD 4-1.

    10. Tylert: Aether vial, Island, Faceless butcher, Qasali pridemage
I thought this deck would come back. You have to answer my combo with pridemage, which means I don't have to commit the snake until you waste the butcher's etb. DD 2-2.

    11. H: Mountain, Reckless Waif, Forge Devil, Branded Brawlers. If you don't have evasion, you need two attackers, both with power >2 to race me. I just keep an untapped land and you can't beat the combo. WW 6-0

    12. maxx!: Treetop Village, Selesnya Sanctuary, Silhana Ledgewalker, Armadillo Cloak
    3 damage + 3 life is better than 3 damage + 1 life. LL 0-6.

    10w 6D 36/66

    vs Asthereal OTP
Assuming you can't win without morphing raiders.
    21/19 21/19
    21/18 21/18
    22/15 22/15
    23/12 23/12 cast a morph, morph
23/12 no attacks 24/11 attack with village and unpumped rootwalla (if you lose raiders you can't pump rootwalla), trade with village chump rootwalla return EOT.
afterwards I hit for 1 and you for 2. 11<24/2=W. OTD you still win.

Ah so I can't attack with the Walla there. So instead I have to go:
A7: Attack with Village only, d=10
    d: Draw Axe
A: Attack with Village, Axe Village, discarding Charm
d: Remembrance, shuffle back all. Library is now T>B Remembrance, Charm, Axe.

A: Attack with pumped Walla, d=4
    d: Draw Charm

    Re: 4 Card Blind

    9. FTW: Island, Zulaport Duelist, Force Spike, Dismember

Interesting. I didn't know Cauldron Familiar was now a common. Must be recent.

    1. Asthereal (TO): My best line is to counter the morph, and then I can only Dismember one of the 2 3/3s. LL 0-6
    2. jhhdk: Force Spike on turn 3 Assassin wins it. WW 6-0
    3. dte: I can always Force Spike Serene Rememberance, so you only get one use of your spells. If you make an Insect, I Dismember it and then win (Lightning Axe discarding Serene loses to Force Spike). But if you do nothing, you can Lightning Axe my 1/1 discarding Charm and I have to let it resolve. DD 2-2
    4. Wrath of Pie: Force Spike answers Gambit. Dismember answers Mage. WW 6-0
    5. GoblinSmashmaster: Force Spike answers Dark Deal. Dismember answers Rootwalla. WW 6-0
    6. Reeplcheep: I thought Dismember on Chosen (or on the returned Familiar) could interrupt the combo somewhere, but it looks like it can't because the sacrifice is a cost and you can always return familiar when Cauldron untaps again for another use, without passing priority. In that case OTP I can Force Spike the Oven, Dismember a creature, and draw the other by threat of ambush. OTD I can't stop the combo. DL 1-4
    7. alphastryk: Encroach is dead. I counter Mummy, Dismember Ripper, and win with Zulaport. OTD if you play Mummy first, I can Dismember it before my guy is exposed and then counter the other. WW 6-0
    8. silkster: Dismember on Lumberjack wins it. WW 6-0
    10. Tylert: OTP I Force Spike the Vial. OTD Vial comes down first. If you play Pridemage at 2 counters and start racing, I'm forced to Dismember it, then Butcher wins. WL 3-3
    11. H: Your Branded Brawlers 2/2 wall tech pays off against my 1/1! I can't win here. I can answer the Brawlers and Waif, then do nothing to leave Forge Devil uncastable. I could also Dismember the Waif, play my guy, and Force the Devil, but Branded Brawlers holds him from attacking. DD 2-2
    12. maxx!: If you play Ledgewalker on turn 4 (Village untapped) I can't counter it, but I could counter the cloak. My 1/1 comes down earlier on turn 1, but if you activate Village I'm forced to lose 4 life to Dismember it, which costs me 4 turns and loses the race. LL 0-6

    38 points (11 wins, 5 draws)

All the supplemental products make this confusing. It was a common in jumpstart which, as a non-draftable set, means very little...

Your threat comes down turn 3. Dark Deal happens turn 2, so you never get out fast enough.

    DL?

Sorry to correct so many results. Nice deck. Your other deck probably would have done better here. Protection and big bodies are very strong.

That explains it. I don't play Standard or just open sealed product, so my knowledge of recent sets is entirely from drafting. I have never even seen Jumpstart before.

If you destroy Crevice first, you still can't ping it.

Looks like the 1/1s just draw both times.
    DD 2-2
Oh right, just play the Forest last. That would force the draws.

I'm not a huge fan of jumpstart, but the game they were trying to crib off of (Smash Up) is really good.
