Jeez, just browsed through what I suppose will be the next block (INV/PLS/APC ?).
Bad block is bad.
7. Wrath of Pie: Subterranean Hangar, Mercadian Bazaar, Rackling, Rackling
1. Asthereal (TO): Plains, Rishadan Port, Fountain of Cho, Blinding Angel WW
2. GoblinSmashmaster: Saprazzan Skerry, Swamp, Parallax Nexus, Avatar of Will LL
3. Tylert: Rishadan port, Island, Daze, Cloud sprite WW
4. Unlif3: Swamp, Dark Ritual, Nether Spirit, Mind Swords WL
5. Whoshim: Forest, Skyshroud Cutter, Skyshroud Cutter, Skyshroud Cutter LL
6. H: Subterranean Hangar, Subterranean Hangar, Rathi Assassin, Avatar of Woe LL
8. BirdsOfParadise: Saprazzan Skerry, Island, Indentured Djinn, Indentured Djinn LL
9. FTW: Saprazzan Skerry, Island, Rishadan Cutpurse, Indentured Djinn LL
5w = 15 points
Turns out The Rack is a lot more fair at 4 mana, who knew?
Ancient Spring and friends should make it better.
Heads up H and Unlife: I think H beats Unlife 6-0. H gets Avatar in play in time even with only one storage land after exiling assassin and the other storage land. Then Avatar wins through Nether Spirit because every other turn it can EOT kill the spirit and get an attack in before the Spirit comes back.
Round 4 score for BirdsOfParadise:
Everyone besides Whoshim has calculated their scores against me, and I agree with all your calculations.
1. I win OTP, lose OTD. 3-3
2. We draw both times because I hold all my cards in hand. If you play your Nexus and wipe my hand, your Nexus will expire and I'll get to stick both my Djinns as blockers when I'm at 5 life from your Avatar. The two Djinns and the Avatar are in permanent standoff. If you never play your Nexus, nothing ever happens. 2-2
3. I win OTP, lose OTD. 3-3
4. I lose. 0-6
5. I win. 6-0
6. I wanted to bring a double storage land deck, but persuaded myself not to because double Djinns outrace them. The joke is on me, though, since you scored better than me overall. 6-0
7. Djinns win fast. 6-0
8. me
9. Curses! The cutpurse is a good touch. 0-6
BirdsOfParadise's total: 26 points

This checks out. H wins both.
Unlife - Mind Swords. H keeps 1 land and Avatar
H - tapped storage land
Unlife - upkeep Nether
H - 1 counter
Unlife - attack to 18
H - 2 counters
...
Unlife - attack to 6
H - 8 counters
Unlife - attack to 4
H - Avatar of Woe
Unlife - pass
H - pass
Unlife - pass. EOT Avatar eats Nether
H - attack for 6
Unlife - upkeep Nether. Can't attack yet.
H - pass
Repeat till death.
H is even faster going first.
Preliminary scores for round 4
Rank. Player: score - season points:
1. GoblinSmashmaster: 33 - 4,1
2. FTW: 31 - 3,9
3. H: 27 - 3,4
3. Asthereal (TO): 27 - 3,4
5. BirdsOfParadise: 26 - 3,3
6. Unlif3: 22 - 2,8
7. Whoshim: 16 - 2,0
8. Tylert: 15 - 1,9
8. Wrath of Pie: 15 - 1,9
If anything changes, I'll adjust the scores.
For the season ranking, not much changes this round.

Round 5 of 4CB Season 3, The Block Tour, has started. This round: Invasion block (Invasion, Planeshift, Apocalypse)!
I have PM'ed myself my deck for round 5, so you can start sending me your decks.
DEADLINE: Wednesday the 14th of August, at 8:00AM Central European Time.
(That's my time. Pacific Time it'll probably be something like Tuesday night 10:00PM-ish, so keep that in mind.)
PLEASE NOTE:
- The way you send your deck to me matters. Please send it in the way described below, so it doesn't cost me an hour of editing before I can post all the decks.
Please send your deck as follows: Forest, Mountain, Kavu Titan, Maniacal Rage (so with card tags around each card, and not above eachother), with your Username and 4CB S03R05 in the topic. Many of you already did this for previous rounds. Thanks a lot, this really saves me the time and hassle of copying and pasting text and tags!
After the deadline has passed, I will post all decks on the forum here, and you can start puzzling out your scores.
If you have any questions, please read the first two posts of this thread first. If you can't find the answer there, drop a message here. We'll answer a.s.a.p.
Happy deck designing everybody!

Oh, wow, thanks guys. I am definitely not good at the analysis on these sorts of games and storage lands did not help. I should have realized though, because Woe's ability to just pop off a creature is why I picked it!
Even a broken clock...
Good news is that Invasion block does not have storage lands!

Sorry for the delay. These get posted right before bed for me, and I have made too many mistakes when calculating at that time of night (I also make mistakes at other times :D ). Thursday is also my longest work day, so it takes me almost a full day to get around to doing these properly.
5. Whoshim: Forest, Skyshroud Cutter, Skyshroud Cutter, Skyshroud Cutter
1. Asthereal (TO): Plains, Rishadan Port, Fountain of Cho, Blinding Angel 0-6 confirmed.
2. GoblinSmashmaster: Saprazzan Skerry, Swamp, Parallax Nexus, Avatar of Will SEE BELOW.
3. Tylert: Rishadan port, Island, Daze, Cloud sprite 6-0 confirmed.
4. Unlif3: Swamp, Dark Ritual, Nether Spirit, Mind Swords 1-4 confirmed.
6. H: Subterranean Hangar, Subterranean Hangar, Rathi Assassin, Avatar of Woe SEE BELOW.
7. Wrath of Pie: Subterranean Hangar, Mercadian Bazaar, Rackling, Rackling 6-0 confirmed.
8. BirdsOfParadise: Saprazzan Skerry, Island, Indentured Djinn, Indentured Djinn 0-6 confirmed.
9. FTW: Saprazzan Skerry, Island, Rishadan Cutpurse, Indentured Djinn 0-6 confirmed.
I was trying to dodge Snuff Out, Mind Swords, and Rishadan Port, but I did it poorly. I completely overlooked that Nether Spirit was in this block, or I would have played that (my first 4CB deck was Nether Spirit, LED, Bridge from Below, and Lingering Souls).
Unfortunately, things went rather poorly. :D
VS Goblin Smashmaster: If I hold all four cards in hand, then I don't think you have a window to play your Avatar, so we draw both games.
VS H:
Who: Play 3 Cutters (20-35)
H: Play tapped Land
Who: Swing (20-29)
H: Play tapped land, add counter (1)
Who: Swing (20-23)
H: Add counters (2/1)
Who: Swing (20-17)
H: Play Assassin or save up
Play Assassin line:
Who: Swing (20-13 if you trade). 2 Cutters left.
H: Add counters (1/1)
Who: Swing (20-9)
H: Add counters (2/2)
Who: Swing (20-5)
H: Add counters (3/3)
Who: Swing (20-1)
H: Add counters (4/4)
Who: Swing for the win
Not trading does not help:
Who: Swing (20-11 if you don't trade).
H: Add counters (1/1)
Who: Swing (20-5)
H: Add counters (2/2)
Who: Swing for the win
Save Up line:
H: Add counters (3/2)
Who: Swing (20-11)
H: Add counters (4/3)
Who: Swing (20-5)
H: Add counters (5/4)
Who: Swing for the win
On the draw:
H: Play tapped Land
Who: Play 3 Cutters (20-35)
H: Play tapped land, add counter (1)
Who: Swing (20-29)
H: Add counters (2/1)
Who: Swing (20-23)
H: Add counters (3/2)
Who: Swing (20-17)
H: Add counters (4/3)
Who: Swing (20-11)
H: Add counters (5/4)
Who: Swing (20-5)
H: Play Avatar (1 counter remains)
Who: Swing (20-1)
H: Add counters (2/1)
Who: Swing and lose to block + Avatar ability
So WL.
EDIT: Looking at GoblinSmashmaster's other matchups, I think the best he can do is draw. If the other player keeps all 4 cards in hand, then he can never drop the Avatar. He also loses to the Daze deck. Am I missing something?

That's cool. No stress.
I think you're missing something here. Might be how Fading works (with 0 counters, the permanent stays on the battlefield - it only dies when you go to -1 counters).
You may be confusing Fading and Vanishing. They're kind of the same mechanic, but like I said, Fading cards live a turn longer than Vanishing cards.
W: Play nothing
G: Skerry (tapped)
W: Play nothing
G: Swamp, cast Nexus (N=5), -4 on Nexus, exile your hand
W: Can't do anything
G: Nexus goes to 0 counters, but lives still. Cast Avatar.
From here, the Avatar wins the race easily. You do get your cards back, but you're delayed a few turns. So you'll have to do a thing.
W: Cast all the things, G=35
G: Skerry (tapped)
W: Attack, G=29
G: Cast Avatar.
From here, you still lose the race, I'm afraid.
I'll adjust all the things.

Ah, right. Thanks. I forgot it was different from Vanishing.

8. Tylert: Dodecapod, Tsabo's assassin, Ancient spring, Geothermal crevice 6-0 I get protection from black, and my 4/4 races your 3/3 if you decide to play Dodecapod. EDIT: 0-6. EoT + Upkeep with the Assassin overwhelms the Crater's protection-giving.
9. BirdsOfParadise: Irrigation Ditch, Island, Meddling Mage, Penumbra Bobcat 0-6
6 points. Jamming out a deck in 10 minutes after being sick is apparently not the best strategy. :D
