Gnomes (Leyline of the Void/Helm with Copper Gnomes)

I went 3-1 tonight to prize. Lost round one to turbo depths. Won round 2 vs lands. Won round 3 vs gaak. Won round 4 vs sneak and show...G1 I welded in helm and used it normally to get grizzlybrand. Suggestions on good artifacts to improve this welcome.

Rounds 2 and 3 you could have won with 4 Leyline + 30 Relentless Rats, so the only win of note is vs Sneak Show.

Did Welder + Gnomes help win through their counter package?

Stealing Grizzly is cute. How did you know it was on top? Or was it a blind mill?

So it's a BR Artifact based Reanimator Helm deck? Why is Copper Gnomes in the SB?

Forgive my ignorance but I'm a dumbass and there's no primer.

It gets around graveyard hate. Kind of like how BR Reanimator sometimes ran Stronghold Gambit in the sideboard.

Ah, okay. It also gets around counterspells.

    Thx.

You spelled "Leviathan" wrong, so it's not linking the card.

Why aren't you using Blightsteel Colossus?

Lands can play through leyline especially g2/3. Welder definitely, gnomes could in theory but didn't come up. I didn't, just milled for 5...got lucky .

@seymour: yes gnomes avoids gy hate and even with helm provides resilience to counters. It's the British spelling for inkwell.

I've always believed that Copper Gnomes is one of the most underrated and powerful cards in Legacy nobody is playing.

Sure, I just figured you'd want to know that it's not linking to the card in the OP.
