    MTGO Treasure Chest Question

Do the Treasure Chests on MTGO provide Modern Horizon cards in the "Modern Era Rare/Mythic Rare" Slot?

Please see this webpage to see what I mean: https://magic.wizards.com/en/MTGO/ar...card-list-info

The website says, "When a Modern-Era Rare or Mythic Rare drop is indicated, the specific card that appears could be from any Modern-era set. This doesn't include sets that were never Standard-legal, such as Masters sets. Rares and mythic rares in these sets that are banned in Modern are still included. Each rare will appear twice as often as any given mythic rare, meaning that any rare has a Relative Drop Rate of 2 and each mythic rare has a Relative Drop Rate of 1. Rares from sets that did not contain mythic rares, as well as Time Spiral's "Timeshifted" bonus sheet still have a Relative Drop Rate of 2."

So, Modern Horizons was never "Standard-legal," but it also isn't a repackaged set like the Masters sets. For someone who opens their Treasure Chest boosts, are you pulling MH1 rares and mythics other than Plague Engineer, Primsmatic Vista, and Urza?

Thank you, I am trying to decide if card values will drop or rise, and if MH1 cards appear in the Rare/Mythic slot, supply will increase.

It seems pretty clear that modern horizons, not being standard legal, isn't included
That said, check the currated drop list

The drop list is separate from the "modern-era rare/mythic" slot.
