Sylvan Library + Uba Mask

Hi, I just want to know if the said card combos could work together, or you'll just end up lossing 8 life per turn, bec. it would trigger the sylvan library to deal you damage bec. you didn't return the cards removed from the game by Uba Mask

Sylvan Library has the current Oracle text of:

At the beginning of your draw step, you may draw two cards. If you do, choose two cards in your hand drawn this turn. For each of those cards, pay 4 life or put the card on top of your library.

Uba Mask:

If a player would draw a card, that player removes that card from the game face up instead.
Each player may play cards he or she removed from the game with Uba Mask this turn.

It is a draw engine already

You use the Library to Draw the extra two cards but Uba mask replaces the draws with removing them from the game. Since you didn't draw the cards you don't have to put any back or pay any life.

Isn't the moment you draw or don't return the extra 2 cards it triggers the ability of sylvan, thus lossing life ??

Since the draws are replaced, you didn't draw them. Thus everything after the if you do part doesn't apply.
Explained about a billion times with just about every replacement effect for a card draw
