It's not just a matter of whether or not you find foils attractive. Foil cards are "premium' cards; meaning they are far rarer. If you are a collector, you want the rarer version because fewer people have it and the value is higher. Some foils are appealing some are unappealing, all are rarer.

It isn't just a matter of being rarer. Otherwise, Portuguese, or Traditional Chinese, foils would be much more expensive.

I don't know, I'd say that if your sideboard is worth more than their deck, I think you are winning regardless of what the match-slip says.

Oh man sorry I didn't put $3,749.97 to be 101% accurate on the internet in a brag post about my deck.

It was a joke, as in the ratchet bombs are jokingly worth more than the tabernacles. Had nothing to do with the actual value of your sideboard. Chill out.

I love Terra Nova, that's a sexy build. It's just a pity that thanks to Mentor/Pyro Stax doesn't make the cut anymore.

    Don't pity Stax, play Triskelion.

Also, I think you might have gotten a little carried away with the delete button...

I do. But I play Aggro shops so it's not the same build.

As for deleting posts, each and every one was off topic. If you want to talk about why something is or is not restricted there is a place for that. It's not this thread.

Edit: Ah, there we go. Good job, wonder tho. Would people want EMA or Judge foil versions of FoW nowadays?

We were discussing this a few pages back. I went with Judge foil because they retain some of the feel of the old FoW (e.g., colors and perspective), and because I don't use any other cards with the new border and hologram, so the EMAs would look a bit out of place. I like the Terese Nielsen art but, aesthetically, there's just a bit too much going on with the card frame and text box for my tastes. Also, I think the masters sets are generally less pimp than anything else.

Now that's proper sexy. I'm not a fan of foils but RUG Delver definitely looks the best when foiled out.
The purpose of any moat is to impede attack. Some are filled with water, some with thistles. Some are filled with things best left unseen.

Old border foils really are second to none.

The FBB duals in the RUG deck really brings it together for me, that's a sweet deck. I was going to ask the exact same question about the FoWs so I'm glad you covered it. Looks great!
