I'm not done building it but I thought I'd show my progress with it. About 2 months ago I only had about 20 of the cards to build it:

When I can't get T-Chinese I settle for Japanese or Korean at times... Newer Japanese is uglier because of the Furigana in the titles over the Kanji but unfortunately I gotta live with this.

Dredge players don't have friends so that might not work that well.

I let people borrow dredge, I can't imagine ever playing it at an event. The whole point of vintage is not to play legacy, and to play power. UNLIMITEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD POWERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR !!!! This may be why I enjoy shops so much; it's just oppressively broken if a little inconsistant. Playing 5 Black Lotuses is just too much power to pass up.

I won't even build it for fun. Nothing better than slapping some moxes down on the table.

Dredge players perhaps have no friends, but same is also true for Shop players.

Posting in defense of Dredge, though I'm still missing a few Serum Powders.

Probably wrong. Though I'm pretty sure a Chalice of the Void restriction is long overdue. A restriction would vastly improve a large percentage of the Workshop games (i.e. interactive) while retaining archetype strengths. Workshops is fundamentally a tempo deck, Chalice just puts it over the top and many times removes tempo from the equation entirely.

The only correct solution is to print Workshop in Korean, but I'm just a guy with some pretty bad(ass) ideas.

Okay, but it's only available in foil and in the M15 frame.

M15 frame is no worse than the 8th edition frame. I like it more honestly as the text for the title is infinitely better. Nothing beats original frame or ever will though.

Lodestone golem is what should be restricted. Turn 1 lodestone is so damn oppressive and difficult to win through. Doesn't help that it kills you in 4 swings either.

There's a large number of very reasonable answers to Lodestone. If you take the time to think about cards within context it becomes very apparent very quickly that Chalice is the real problem. The entire premise of the deck is to gain tempo through "resetting" your opponents mana curve. The archetype as a whole pushes others to seek cheap solutions or those that can bypass curve restrictions i.e. Lighting Bolt - - Snuff Out. The fact that Chalice punishes opponents ability to jump the curve to things like Restoration Angel or utilize cheaper answers like Lighting Bolt, becomes completely broken within the context of Workshops as an archetype i.e. strip effects, resistor effects, and tap effects. There's a fair amount of low quality games that are entirely determined by the roll and CotV, similar to 4X Trinisphere era - it's lousy and it's got to go. That being said many of the BUg lists put out by Amadeus Kurz have a great Workshop match up and I think there's a lot of take aways from the strategies he utilizes.
