Scanning the deck seems like a much better choice for displaying the deck. I fail at taking pictures, so I may take that approach. Nice painter deck!

    Hey guys,

i want to foil out my Landstill deck and was wondering which editions are more "pimp":

JR Flooded Strand vs. Onslaught Foil Flooded Strand
FNM Brainstorm vs. Mercadian Masques Foil Brainstorm

And then i wanted to ask how to pimp a Force of Will, unfortunately there aren´t any foils out there :(

    Thanks!

    Set Foils win, always.

German FoW, if you wanted to go there. Otherwise, Altered is your only choice.

The real question is what is the pimp counterspell?

    Re: [Bragging] Pimp Legacy Decks

I consider Onslaught foil to be more pimp. Just personal taste. I always prefer PR Wastelands to JR ones, mostly because I really appreciate the old border. I guess it's a matter of personal taste.
Regarding Brainstorm, I think MM Foil is more pimp by FAR!

FoW can be pimped in several ways:
    - Artist signed / altered, Garfield signed
    - other alterations
    - "translation" to Japanese/Korean
    - bleaching

Regarding Counterspell: MM Foil > Judge Foil >>>> Beta, from my point of view.
The seven cardinal sins of Legacy:
    1. Discuss the unbanning of Land Tax Earthcraft.
    2. Argue that banning Force of Will would make the format healthier.
    3. Play Brainstorm without Fetchlands.
    4. Stifle Standstill.
    5. Think that Gaea's Blessing will make you Solidarity-proof.
    6. Pass priority after playing Infernal Tutor.
    7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).

I like the judge foil and the MM foils. MM Japanese foil has to be the ultimate.

I'm not sure which is rarer, the MM Japanese foil counterspell or the 7th edition Japanese foil counterspell.

Anyone like gunslinga or pizero care to elaborate? Cheers.

I think 7th Edition is more expensive, tbh, but not totally sure.

    QFT!
I'd run a regular MM brainstorm before I stooped to FNM - yuck!

Summer counterspell is big time pimp imho, but the MM one is prettier (base set Jap foil is harder to get so 7th is prob. more expensive - but a bit ugly)

korean 5th brainstorms + counterspells are really nice but pretty hard to find in decent condition and for a fair price ...

I think this thread is getting a little stale. Some acquisitions in the past few months. Nothing big on the $$$ but these are pretty rare:

    Original RK POST alter:

    Original JASON CHAN alters:

I'm missing one, but I'm unlikely to play 4 Iona's in any deck. PS: Iona's are foil :)

Japanese black border swords aren't too hard to find. Not sure if that would look better though. Personally I would keep the foils.

Sweet deck James, I've seen it many times on live video feeds, you've made your money back on that deck. But I did enjoy watching you play new horizons before July and the whole survival thing, it should be a great deck again.
