Also, I'm glad Mr Cook prefers the M10 Ponders, I'm not a fan of Merfolk Titties too.
I actually got my Japanese Foil Brainstorms for $40.00 each the weeks after they restricted it in Vintage. What a steal! They're near infinite now.

Yeah, Merfolk tits aren't for me.

You aren't missing out on much. It's a weak try at an MTG funny that's really just someone indirectly ribbing/complaining about a market they are not a part of, probably for financial reasons. Man envy is a bitch.

I just got some Korean 4th Edition Rituals...is that pimp?
I think the biggest thing is the deep seeded emotional understanding that the right play is the right play regardless of outcomes. The ability to make a decision 5 straight times, lose 5 times because of it, and still make it the 6th time if it's the right play. - Jon Finkel

Just a sign of things to come:

My full stoneblade will be complete soon. Just placed an order on SCG for the last few missing pieces. Also waiting for some judge foil fetches from my friend in the UK.

Shout out to Rezaa for getting these French FBB Tundras for me in France! Way to spend a vacation, hunting FBBs with the wife. Hope she didn't murder you!

Got around to getting these back from a friend who went to Worlds...

Apparently, the lines for Jason Chan were pretty nuts there, so I really appreciate my friend taking the time to get these signed for me.

Definately, especially if you hate foils. There are quite a few flavors of korean DRs though.

    - saga man in blood tub
    - tempest angry white man
    - 4th original art

I use either korean tempest or betas.

Picked up my 4th unlimited tundra last night (traded a revised one plus a misty rainforest for it). Also picked up a second Unl. Savannah. Now I have unlimited playsets of Tundra, Underground, Volcanic, and Plateau, plus a bunch of other unlimited duals. I'm slowly converting my revised playset to unlimited.

I'm probably in the minority on this, but I really like unlimited duals, much more than FBB and Revised. Alpha/Beta is too much for me so I'm sticking to Unlimited as a compromise. I think a deck with all BB cards and Unlimited Duals plus Unlimited basics looks very classy and makes fetching easy.

Note: I prefer non-foil, English, old card frame when pimping.

I agree but people should post pictures rather than reports of their pruchases in this thread (not that I have any to share ).

This is brought up from time to time. You and I are similar.
I love the unlimited duals due to the saturation of the color and for other oddball reasons like it being the only white border version of the original plateau art(!).

I'd rather have unlimited duals over FBB ones any day of the week.

Only different between us is that sometimes I like to have foils but it's rare that I'll shell out for them unless I adore the card like no other.

    Re: [Bragging] Pimp Legacy Decks

I'm not usually one to post pimp (especially stuff that isn't mine), but a (very good) friend let me borrow these a few weeks back for my TA.

Beta duals are pretty pimpy on their own, but take a close look at that first Tropical Island. It's insane.

Everyone has their personal preferences, but generally speaking, more expensive / rare = more pimp.

Russian cards are very much in demand these days, as are Korean cards.

Are crimped cards tournament-legal? Can't you tell what it is through the sleeve?
