LOL... you're right, that's the best. I actively collect signed cards from all kinds of CCG's; one of my favorites is Vampire: the Eternal Struggle. Back in the day lots of artists used other artist, WotC employees, or spouses for vampire models - I have quite a few double signed VtES cards
Take it easy,

Caught between the Scylla and Charibdes,
Hypnotized by you if I should linger,
Staring at the ring around your finger" - Sting
Ray Thiel (1964-2007) - the man who showed me more wonderful games & gaming sessions than I ever dreamed possible... you ran out of hit points too young, my friend.
Wow! And who might be that old man?
The idea is really good, but it's usually difficult to find that man who's signature would be worth it and who would agree to do that. I was lucky to get several basic lands signed by a famous rock musician here in Russia. Also somewhere there exist Il-Gotten Gains signed by Iggy Pop.
Nothing is true, everything is permitted...
Hah, I have a foil set of Wheel of Fates (they have Time counters) signed by Brandon Sanderson!

Should have probably take a scan of this one. One of my new fave cards. :)
-Cheers-
Russian Tarmogoyf number 2 came in. Very nice!

Eh, that Karakas looks awesome. I wish you posted a scan.
Are you into Jazz? Have a look at the Lp's I have for sale on Discogs!
That Karakas is sick!
Anyway, haven't had much legacy action recently other than some Mav/RUG/UW action. Meta getting a little bit stale. Luckily EDH keeps magic spicy:
All decks foiled out, Zur is for competitive 1 vs 1 madness. Sharuum for competitive multiplayer combo kill. Sen Triplets is for multiplayer attrition fun. Bruna is just getting finished, components in the mail. I'm looking forward to one shotting someone with Intuition/Three Dreams into Eldrazi Conscription/Diplomatic Immunity/Corrupted Conscience.
WINNING IN STYLE IS ALL THAT MATTERS IN EDH!
I want to say I got that signed at a Gencon or Origins. It kind of looks like Dan Frazier, so I asked if it was a self portrait. He said no in fact it's Mike Something (I can't remember and the signature is a bit cryptic) and pointed 2 booths over ... and there was the Soldevi Simulacrum beard and parted hair and everything. I stormed over and got him to sign the card and never even got Frazier to sign it.
Why doesn't someone email Dan and solve the mystery?

Hate to post off topic but I just wanted to ask:
Does anyone else wait for the weekend to see what new cards Markers has added to his collection? I just find it exciting to see all these hard to find cards with signatures. I wouldn't have the money or patience to collect every card with artist's signature. :) Maybe one day I'll be good enough to do some art of my own for wizards. Might be the only way to get my hands on marker's collection.
Anyways, I just wanted to say thanks for showing us your progress and the cards that you seem to receive each week.
Hopefully these kind words don't make your addiction even worse, lol.
Mail came today.
The Bridges are for someone on here, you know who you are
My anti-pimp Karakas: Played to shit, but no shuffle crease. Perfect.
Last Verdant came, and the pics of my two Goyfs together. Still needs some more Goyf family members though :/

Ha, that's the Birthday cake I made! (And also the played to shit Karakas that came with it.)
Glad you liked 'em both, Matt.
I had to post it. The drawing was pretty good :)

As I foil out my deck, I want to get some cards signed, preferably in a metallic gold or silver (or both--I'm looking at you, Mishra's Factory.) What pens do people recommend for that?
Also, I am trying to find contact information for Dom! (the guy who did Judge Foil counterspell,) but google is being frustrating. Anybody know how I can get in touch with him
Some kind of paint marker / calligraphy marker or pen is usually the best.
I'm sure someone else can recommend you some specific brand names, but I'd imagine you can find a suitable one at a place like Michael's or Hobby Lobby.
