I also put any of my foil cards into perfect fit sleeves as soon as I get them and store them in the perfect fits.

As others have mentioned, foils warp because the cardboard side absorbs moisture and expands while the foil metallic side does not.

Putting them in sleeves immediately helps keep moisture away from the card.

Feeling a sock or dice bag with instant rice and keeping it in your bag or with your foils act like a silica packet but is much cheaper then buying silica.

The most important thing here is that you get to enjoy some beef jerky, let's be honest.

Not sure if that merchant scroll is sunbleached or not. I don't really know the difference as I'm not experienced in albino/sunbleached cards.

...and it starts for me now, going for it with High Tide, not sure what I'll do about the 20 or so cards unavailable foil, either get them signed or alternate art or whatever, I will figure out that part later after I get the foils out of the way, in either case, already got 4 foil preordain out of the way.

Going to get the FNM brainstorm textless Ponder foil zendikar full art J Avon island's & dci Flusterstorm in the next couple of days.

After that, then the rest, which will be 6 foil fetchlands, likely the DCI polluted delta's & Flooded strand's, foil Cunning wish merchant scroll then some 1/2 of's like 2 snap 2 wipe away 1 rebuild 1 Blue sun's zenith 1 Dci Intuition & at least 2 Pact of negation.

Why FNM Brainstorms, textless ponders and judge foil fetches?

This is the Pimp Thread. Half the cards you see are already destroyed.

This in fact does not ruin your cards. If you have a large enough bottle the curve will be pretty gentle, and effectively will be doing just a little more than, say, putting a book on your foils to flatten them.

I have enough maintenance with my car and my wife ( )... I can't imagine having to perform maintenance on magic cards.

The start of "pimping out a high tide deck" Since there's no available foil High Tide's, I did some art:

The cam is blurry and sucks I had to share it somehow, instead of "coloring" in, doing full art, etc, this is just a very simple "carving in a design" using a X-acto knife, each one took about an hour / hour and a half to complete but the results are awesome.

@ feline: I would really like to see some better pictures of those High Tides, and a detailed description of what you have going on would be nice too as it does look interesting.

    @ 3dd09: SWEET !!!!
I scored my first Guru Land, the Island and I absolutely love it. It has a place of honour in my collection and I am working on getting the full set. Oh and where did you get the sticker, that would be nice to have as well.

WOW that assembled set looks AWESOME
    Cheers

    I have the same "sticker".
I recieved it from the Artist itself, Terese Nielsen, when I once sent her cards to sign for me =)
She still does it via mail, and she is very friendly and fast ;)
