Call the judge, then. Does it matter to the other player? Who knows if you will get a warning for being an ass and calling a judge over a card you probably know and couldn't care less about its exact wording?

If he called the judge for an oracle wording, he'd get it. If he called to whine about the fact that it's asian, he'd best not try that more than once.

I don't what's the obsession with Japanese/Chinese version of cards but for me English foil is much better. If I ever encountered a player using Asian version. I will tell him to show me an English version or else I'll call a judge.

All cards printed are legal in the format they are allowed in regardless of language they would be under no obligation to show you an English one, the best you could do would be to ask a judge for a translation of the card. During a current tournament I went to a person had a deck full of Russian cards, a few people complained but there is nothing in the rules prohibiting it that I could find. What would you do if you ever went to a major pro tour and played against players from other countries.

I always wondered about that since you could feasibly get paired up against a person who didn't speak English much and had a deck full of cards that weren't highly played and have to translate most of them. That would be one pain in the arse to the judges.

Kind of like my wife isn't American and her English isn't the greatest. Since she does happen to know Russian at least better than English she plays decks full of Russian cards that are kinda crappy so not many people are going to know what half the cards are since it's not highly played stuff.

I have a weird question for you guys, sorry if this is the wrong place for it. Most of Terese Nielsen's signatures are at the bottom of the card, really loopy and vertically oriented, I've seen them on multiple forces of will and a couple natural orders. However, I've recently seen a couple of her cards that are signed in the middle of the card, between the picture and text. They are a little more jagged and slightly right oriented. Has anyone else seen these? Are they authentic? I'm guessing maybe it's an older signature before she got really big, because all of her new force of will alterations are signed at the bottom and are really loopy.

You start to lose it with the Japanese/Chinese mix, but you recoup it because if a card is one language ALL of that card is that language.
Pretty cool looking deck, I've always liked Japanese non-foils.

Sorry, I don't know why the Infernals came out so large. They're the same width as the image below. As for the S-Chinese cards, I couldn't stand having 3 japanese foil Infernals and a non-foil jap. Foil S-Chinese > Jap in my eyes. For the Duress, I traded for it. They'll both be Japanese foil eventually.
