Meh, some people are more practical than others I guess. I could give two fucks about having a themed painted piece of art. I buy a box to protect and store my cards in a proper manner. You couldn't pay me to put my cards into anything else on the market, Wyrmwood included.
Let's be realistic, there is no point to store cards in fancy boxes, standard deck boxes works just fine.

Satin Towers work fine! But If I spend 250€+ on single Cards I might as well buy a fancy box that can be hit by a truck. We all like to turn heads with shiny and rare cardboard, I like to add a nice and unique playmat and my cuthulu deckbox ;)
If spending $40 on some ugly-ass boxes means good taste, then sure. I'd still vote for the excellent $2 Ultra-Pro boxes.
For example I like uniformity in the way like my tes deck:
Infernal tutor is new frame. So burning wish is also the dci one. The judgment art is better but the new one is not much worser. So I take unifomity.
Not in my deck but in cards that do the most. That the reason I play fbm brainstorm because ponder, preordain and gitaxian are all new frame.

Wormwood, Leafkicker, Driftwood, XBoutique, and whatever other Etsy-tier custom deck boxes are all tacky as hell, and will still get destroyed if hit by a truck. If you really want to customize a deck box for your pimp deck, get a UltraPro Satin Tower in white and then either paint it yourself or commission someone to do it.

Bought some cards tonight from a friend getting rid of most of his insane collection. Took a lot of restraint to limit myself just to this...
The Candelabras, Bazaars, LED and Mox Diamand all help me finish playsets of those respective cards. Always wanted a BB set of Rituals. The Gauntlet and Lord of the Pit are for nostalgia and cool factor and picked up a couple extra Drains, cause you can never have too many English Mana Drains....
I would like to know what you paid for that, or if you paid the actual hyped price or the old "common" price for it, especially since you bought it from a friend as you said.
The Satin Towers are supposed to be nice.
I just use an outdoor case designed for camera/electronics that fits 2 Ultra Pro side loading deck boxes snugly in the cutout foam. I can put it in a backpack or luggage without worrying that the deck boxes will get knocked around. There's leftover space for dice and things as well.

I'm smart enough not to post HP WB duals and mismatched Anglers/Probes. Nor do you want to see my 2 English/1 Foil/1 Japanese Delver split. If I'm going for German I'm only posting the German. Other people post recent acquisitions and not full decks. Get off my ass.

Are foreign language no foil pimp? My question excludes black border duals and other similar stuff. I collect foreign non foil but I didn't think it hit the pimp thresh. Like Ponder, Daze, etc.
