I'm sure clone isn't a very good card, but one of my friends, that used to play magic awhile back, wants to make a deck using clone and other clone affects. He also likes retarded combo's like sorceress queen with minion of tevesh szat, and icy manipulator with royal assassin. So he pretty much loves to mess with your creatures and piss you off and such.
I know none of this is viable and all of the cards listed are pretty janky, but if you guys could help me come up with a descent U/B or U/B/w list that atleast incorporates clone or clone type cards that would be really nice. I only ask, because I'm not too familiar with the legacy format, and my friend isn't very good at magic.. so the list he has now (which I'm unfamiliar with) is pretty awful. Unfortunately, he really likes the clone ability and is too stubborn to dismiss the deck, and U/B happens to be his favorite colors to play with.
Thank you
You should use volrath's shapeshifter instead. Try this deck:

Clone sucks, in my opinion. Volrath's shapeshifter is much better because you can't depend on your opponent's creature. Clone is useless against combo decks too.
@ radley: FEB is a nice deck, but I'm pretty sure that it is not the right choice for him, since he said: And FEB is skill-intense.
Other played "clone type" cards that come to my mind are Fork, Twincast and Mizzium Transreliquat. I don't know if I should suggest your friend to play a deck with any of those. They're either expensive or difficult to play (or both). He could play burn with Fork although I believe this card doesn't belong to the deck. I don't think you will find a competitive deck with something similar to the card Clone.
His friend wants clone http://ww2.wizards.com/gatherer/CardDetails.aspx?&id=99
... or clone like. Clone copies creatures, Mizzium Transreliquat copies artifacts and the other two copy instants and sorceries. Since they all do copy other cards, I would call them clone like. I think the problem with my suggestion was, that burn is not U/B or U/B/w. Btw. you suggested a non-Clone card yourself so what is the problem?
There is no good deck running Clone or something very similar to it. Clone is not a good card in Legacy. It's fun in casual but your friend already plays a funny deck. In my opinion it should either stay that way or you have to dismiss the idea of running Clone.
Volrath's Shapeshifter was made with Clone in mind. They both possess the clone ability. The difference is Clone get 1 body once from in play creatures while Volrath's gets an ever changing body from your graveyard.
Some creatures with the Clone ability:
Volrath's Shapeshifter
Vesuvan Doppleganger
Vesuvan Shapshifter
Clone
Body Double
Also, your friend might enjoy duplicante.
6cc
Card Type: Artifact Creature - Shapeshifter
P/T: 2/4
Rules Text (Oracle): Imprint - When Duplicant comes into play, you may remove target nontoken creature from the game. (The removed card is imprinted on this artifact.)
As long as a creature card is imprinted on Duplicant, Duplicant has the power, toughness, and creature types of the last creature card imprinted on it. It's still a Shapeshifter.
I believe he is currently using 3 different clone type cards:
Clone
Vesuvan Doppelganger
Dance of Many
He may own some Volrath's Shapeshifter, and I gave him some Body Doubles.
I played a casual deck that used Vesuvan, Clone, and Soul Foundry with Evil Eye of Orms-by-Gore. It used the 'Tron and imprinted Soul Foundry with Clone, then produced clones of Evil Eye. Just a thought.
He should probably be cloning something that gets better with more of them in play. Cloning Muscle/Sinew Slivers might be pretty fun.

Err.. Cloning cheap creatures FTW. Cloning "phaige the untouchable" is the best way to win, in my opinion.
You do know both phages would die due to the legend rule right?
Team Info-Ninja.
If you act now we'll ship you an extra order of ShamHawks. THATS 8 ShamHawks FOR $19.99, you'll spend that much on falcons every month anyway.
I forgot to say cloning with volrath's shapeshifter. ^_^
LOL.. You don't want to cast phaige due to its casting cost.
1. Resolve Chaos Orb. (hey, this is casual!)
2. Cast Animate Artifact on it.
3. Cast Dance of Many, copying Chaos Orb.
4. As a token, use a pillow.
5. Activate the Chaos Orb token's ability
6. ???
7. Profit
Use a pillow for your Animated, Dance of Many, Chaos Orb Token? Fah!, I use the table. It's more dramatic.
Use the floor as a token. ^_^
