If you fail to explain the reason behind your choice, technically, it's the wrong choice.
Zerk Thread -- Really, fun deck! ^^
Wow, this is pretty darn useful, man. Thanks for putting this up!
At first I was thinking, "since when do I have more than 4 copies of a card in my deck," but then I realized that I could just group cards like removal, creatures, and lands together. I'm so good at this.
Yes, very helpful. I've been wanting one of these for a bit, but I suck at math.
Could turn it into a Google spreadsheet, though sharing those can be finicky.
“It's possible. But it involves... {checks archives} Nature's Revolt, Opalescence, two Unstable Shapeshifters (one of which started as a Doppelganger), a Tide, an animated land, a creature with Fading, a Silver Wyvern, some way to get a creature into play in response to stuff, some way to get a land into play in response to stuff (a different land from the animated land), and one heck of a Rube Goldberg timing diagram.”
-David DeLaney
If anyone's interested, I made a chart about a month or two ago that lists how many lands you should have drawn from your deck (assumed to be 60 cards for constructed and 40 cards for limited) on average by any given turn (assuming you're first player).
Someone put the spreadsheets up on Google Docs for me and added values for 100 card decks as well.
The link is: https://spreadsheets.google.com/spre...JLWVE&hl=en_US
EDIT: I updated the spreadsheet to make it more user friendly and, er, colorful. >_>
Perhaps we could get one sticky that has nothing but all of the various data spreadsheets together.
Minor update. Added a Limited chart.
Cool, now I know to add 4 more Shatters in my SOM block drafts in order to maximize the chance of seeing 1 in my opener. Sweeeeeet!!</sarcasm>
Thanks for the extra info AlexAI!

This guy has some pretty sick statistic tools that can be viewed online:

I'm working on my own spreadsheets but haven't found a way to compile them neatly and available for sharing. Google spreadsheet is still very limited in sharing/viewing purposes.

Anyway, is this thread just for Opening 7 Charts or can the community add some useful spreadsheets/statistics if we feel like it?

I've been looking around the web for an update to Stephen Menendian's Legacy checklist and couldn't find one that was satisfactory so I wrote one:

Thought you guys could use it too.
