    It's a 4/3 flier for 4 mana.

    Considering that not even 6/6 fliers for 4 mana are good enough by Legacy standards anymore, this guy is unplayable in Legacy competitively.

    Pretty sure this list is from the guy who started the tech of Mardu Strike a Leader in this deck a few years ago. Interesting to see that he has dropped Ob Nixilis entirely.

    Creatures seems good, especially when backed up behind Hymn and Chalice...then again any midsize/large threat under those two things is a closer.

    Why Archdemon of Paliano? This took me a while, but it's a 5/4 flyer with no downside; it's downside comes from drafting it in a Conspiracy 2 draft. Since your everyday legacy tournament is not Conspiracy 2 draft, you can safely play it as an under coasted beater. There's probably better options, like Abyssal Persecutor--but that requires things like edicts and maybe Phyrexian Tower kill it once you've "won". Maybe that seems too cute for what the deck wants to do.

    This is probably the best looking version I've seen in a while. Then again, the small Japanese legacy tournament is not grounds for ideal deck building, but it's a good resource to see tech and deck evolution for interesting ideas.

    I played this deck at Legacy Champs two years ago... and the mana was a constant issue.

    I really hate trying to cast Hymn to Tourach on-curve in an Ancient Tomb deck. I don't care how many Urborgs you run, it's still incredibly awkward.

    I haven't posted my list for a while. This isn't Demon Stompy, I don't think playing fatties is competitive enough for Black Stompy since we don't have Blood Moon or a Magus, though I do think Ammit and Demon of Pizzeria are nice new beaters for that deck. The deck needs disruption to function well. That's why I have a Stax plan.

    It's possible Ensnaring Bridge should be in the 75, mainboard OR sideboard. That's the only major addition I would contemplate, along with possible adjustments to the sideboard.
