I should say that I'd play Unhinged lands over these all day, but these are nice, too. Arena Promos ftw. Some of the Kamigawa Block ones are nice too, but I like these best, especially the Mirrodin ones (Except maybe the Plains, Ravnica was great for those)
EDIT: It's been brought to my attention that the 2003 Arena lands were painted to fit with the Fetchlands. After looking at them side by side, it looks really hot.
I stick to Unglued strictly if I run basics.
As for crappy lands, ugh, MM had some stinkers that's for damn sure.
THe swamps and forests I actually kind of like, but Mountains, Plains and Islands are super shitty.

The Saga Lightning Island is my favorite basic of all time. As mentioned, Guru is the pimpest and APAC/Euro is probably the coolest or most flavorful. Also, someone posted a swamp that looks like Polluted Delta. That's awesome.
Preferred:
Plains: Don't use white
Swamp: Not sure, APAC or DCI Ravnica
Island: DCI Kamigawa
Mountain: DCI Ravnica
Forest: APAC

I actually like that island. My sole island in Thresh is a foil one of those. The island I would most want to have, however, is probably this. Foil + Old Frame + No Big Island Symbol + Good Art (though admittedly far from the best) = Awesomesauce.

I think the worst lands are the Unglued ones, particularly the Islands. ewwwww....

They're... Euroland Red set... which at the moment is the hardest to find... SSG is the only place I can find it listed for the moment... at $40 for the set. My usual haunts are out of it in singles form.
