    Hi all. I usually played mud, and still do. i also played rug threshold back in the day and can now again. Thats said, i also enjoy this deck archetype. I thought id post my list and see what more experienced players thought about some of my more non traditional additions. Here goes.

    I believe that the intuition mb could also be another liliana the last hope with fewer abrupt decays in the meta, and could see another edict sb as well with all the sneak and show.

    A new card was spoiled in RTRTR, Assassin's Trophy, that might singlehandedly bring BUG Landstill back. The ability to destroy lands is HUGE in a Landstill deck and a big reason why UW has been having so much success. By giving BUG a way to have more Wasteland effects, we get more outs to Cavern of Souls, Grove of the Burnwillows, Thespian's Stage, etc.

    Here's a very preliminary decklist that I've adapted straight from my current UW Landstill build:

What do I cut for the fourth green source? I have no idea, but it's obvious that this is a huge pickup for reactive BG decks and no one does reactive better than Landstill.

    I like very much your idea. Do you think that wastelands are necesary?

    I think so. With the above 60, you're really looking to push opposing wastelands to the limit with 7 must-kill cards (tar pit, Azcanta, factory) so snagging opposing Wastelands with your own is a huge deal and helps close the game out sooner.

    Besides that, Wasteland is a big deal in landstill- you can cast your big spells off of it (Jace, Azcanta, etc), activate factories, blow up opposing Wastelands, and tackle otherwise impossible to beat cards (pfire/Grove). Maybe just 1 is what I want or maybe I want 2 and 3 factories but yeah, the Mana base is wrong right now.

    Would not it be interesting to remove the wastelands and put two basic lands, or a tropical and a forest?

    The UW version I've been playing a lot locally. As soon as Assassin's Trophy is able to played at sanctioned events, I'll give the list above a shot with some change in the mana. I do really want another green source but I think Forest is probably overdoing it, but I also really want that 2nd Wasteland, but I also think 23 lands is just right. There's a right answer here, I'm sure, but I haven't figured it out yet.

    Hi all,

    I'm new to The Source, and was just hoping to get some feedback on a list. I've only played about 15 matches with it, between xmage and FNMs, but it feels super solid. I'm winning about 60% of the time, which isn't great, but truthfully I'm just getting back in to Magic after 16 years so my play skill and format knowledge are still developing. The aether vials are the main difference here, obviously, as well as the omission of manlands. So many ways to gain advantage under a standstill, and vialing in a Leo in response to a brainstorm just feels incredible. Anyway, I don't think the deck is Tier 1 or 2 or anything, but it's pretty competitive and a ton fun, so I'd like to optimize it. All feedback, positive and negative, is welcome.
