    Honestly the Marit-Lage combo doesn't seem needed.

    The main pieces all have 2 in the cost. What does 1 cmc add here? If Mogg Fanatic could be another wincon then you don't need red mana and can play Chalice of the Void?

    //Lands:
    4 Ancient Tomb
    3 City of Traitors
    2 Karakas
    10 Snow-Covered Plains

    //Artifacts and Enchantments:
    4 Chrome Mox
    4 Chalice of the Void
    3 Solemnity

    //Creatures:
    4 Thalia, Guardian of Thraben
    3 Thalia, Heretic Cathar
    3 Recruiter of the Guard
    1 other wincon
    2 Eldrazi Displacer
    3 Mothra
    1 Palace Jailer

    //Sideboard:
    3 Thorn of Amethyst

    Is there anything else that would work? Ticking Gnomes + something not Recruiter of the Guard?
    Persist creature + sac outlet?

    Not sure it is a deal breaker, but Claice is a non-bo with Solemnity.

    Maybe instead of a D&T style shell you go with a prison shell with Trinisphere and Blood Moon. Solemnity and Luminous Broodmoth are pretty high mana cost anyway. Blood Moon sort of combos with Dark Depths so if you really wanted to lean into it perhaps something spicy like Leave // Chance could catch a few people off guard.

    Unless you play the Chalice first...

    Solemnity seems terrible if it's just being used for the mothra combo though.

    @ftw, tickling gnomes is cool but I'm not sure how to tutor for it then. Think the deck needs its one drop.

    Oh man, if you're playing Solemnity and Knight of the Reliquary together, you definitely need to throw in at least one Glacial Chasm.

    Ooh, excellent suggestion...I'll add it to my list.

    Anyone else have a mothra list?

    I can't think of what other card(s) would make this good, but Gravity Sphere is a card.

    What about cutting Mothra? Solemnity seems great if it works with Dark Depths the way I think it does. Especially with the Glacial Chasm lock and all the land tutors available. If you have all that, that honestly looks like a better win condition than cramming in the Mothra combo.

    //Creatures: 23
    4 Noble Hierarch
    4 Elvish Reclaimer
    2 Mother of Runes
    2 Giver of Runes
    3 Thalia, Guardian of Thraben
    2 Tarmogoyf
    1 Destiny Spinner
    4 Knight of the Reliquary
    1 Ramunap Excavator

    //Enchantments: 4
    4 Solemnity

    //Spells: 7
    4 Swords to Plowshares
    3 Green Sun's Zenith

    //Lands: 26
    4 Wasteland
    3 Dark Depths
    2 Thespian's Stage
    1 Dryad Arbor
    1 Glacial Chasm
    4 Windswept Heath
    3 Prismatic Vista
    2 Savannah
    3 Snow-Covered Forest
    2 Snow-Covered Plains
    1 Karakas

    //Sideboard: 15
    1 Bojuka Bog
    1 Gaddock Teeg
    1 Knight of Autumn
    1 Ramunap Excavator
    1 Scavenging Ooze
    2 Phyrexian Revoker
    2 Crop Rotation
    3 Veil of Summer
    3 Deafening Silence

    Solemnity also hates out things like Chalice, Vial, Ballista... too bad it can't stop Oko.

    Does this work with mothra? I'm not sure...cool if it does.

    @ftw: just one or two mothra, possibly even without something like fanatic to go infinite, might be best. Its got huge upside with solemnity or even on its own though.
