What is the hottest asian language?
@Jaiminho: What language are those foil grips? They are so sexy it hurts.
I want to pimp my Dreadstill deck into Asian. Are those asian Dreadnoughts hard to find? I think the rest isnt that much of a deal. What languages should I go than? Wich asian Dreadnoughts exists?
Where do you find stuff like a foil test print? I've been hunting the Survivals forever and haven't seen a single one, but people keep popping up with them.
Ebay usually. I have a pair of Survivals too actually.
They are HOT Gunslinga. What are they worth?
Whats the story behind the test prints? Are those borders silver (I can't really tell from the picture and I haven't seen one in real life)?
Now I am curious, too, I only have seen some testprint foils at the SPIEL 07 in Essen, but those were textless (the card I have seen were Gaea's Cradle, Dures, Pygmy Hippo and I think Stroke of Genius).
The all had a empty textbox and no cardname, just the picture and the card type.

When Wizards decided to start making foil cards, they made a bunch of test prints to test the process. Some were lighter than others, some were darker. Often they have a letter in marker on the back denoting which variant they are. They printed one card of each color/type.
Mana Breach
Oath of Lieges
Survival of the Fittest
Fighting Chance
Plaguebearer
Memory Crystal
City of Traitors
Pygmy Hippo
All were from the current set, Exodus, except Pygmy Hippo was from Visions, because they didn't have any gold cards in Exodus. I have no clue how or why they chose these particular cards. Wizards gave a lot of them out to people to play with to see how they would wear and play, so most of them do have some light edge wear. They generally don't scan or photograph well because they're so absurdly shiny and silvery.
The test foils don't show up too often, but they do surface every now and then, usually in groups. Prices range from $300-600 for the bad ones to up to $1000+ for the good ones. In past years they went much higher; I do recall a major collector buying a set of 16 for $16000.
Are they tournament legal?
Once I get my cards in the mail from Gunslinga I'll be posting E!TESBRUWG2k9. It's hot.
Isn't that Survival or something?
EPIC! The EPIC Storm Black/Red/Blue/White/Green 2k9 would be my guess.
