    [BOSTON] Legacy

    I'll make this short.

Currently located in Boston MA, Beacon Hill to be exact. I do not own a car so it is utterly impossible for me to attend ELDs weekly Legacy events. However I have unlimited access to the wonderful and always timely MBTA.

I would like to start a weekly event, testing, whatever, in the inner Boston area.

    1. Do people already do this?

    2. Who would actually be interested in this and on what day/time?

Personally I am sick of playing against my one and only Magic friends Survival deck once a month and find MWS to be as fun as running a cheese grater down my ballsack.

    Please please please post.

    Thank you.

I live in Brookline, right on the border of Chestnut Hill (my mailiing address is actually in Chestnut Hill), and I'd definitely be up for a some games/testing, probably couldn't commit to a weekly thing until September or October though. Also, I'm in the WPN so we could sanction stuff if we wanted to.

That's fine. I just want people to play with.

    Anyone else interested at all?

Absolutely interested. I've been wondering about this ever since I found out I'm going to college up there (i.e. in April...).

I'm in Somerville. I'd probably be game every once in a while.

I'm down for it - looks like we have about 4, maybe 5ish people so far which is a little weak.

On a side note, Any Boston area guys feel free to shoot me a pm if you're planning to hit up any tourneys farther away and want some help with driving/gas money/testing before hand.

If you guys can all make it. Every Sunday in Worcester Thats Entertainment holds legacy events. Split to top 4. There is on average between 20 and 30 people every week. All local people, but plenty of good decks are played. Its always a good time, and they have a nice card selection with good prices, thats always nice to have as I have played at stores in the past won credit and they had nothing to buy, I bought sleeves and snacks.

I just saw someone post about this in the ELD/OTE Wednesday legacy thread and I'm definitely going to make it down for this. Can't for the next few weeks but surely will. That's a pretty solid crowd for a weekly event. It would be nice to get somethin going closer to home as well though.

I'd be up for testings/casual games/random tournaments. I've got a number of decks built to play or loan - Zoo, Dreadstill, Dead Guy Ale, Affinity, Burn, Death and Taxes, Belcher and a Sharuum EDH. Let me know if anything comes together.

Just to reiterate. This Wednesday night thing is for play testing. There is no money involved.

I think I will stop by. I'm a vintage player, but if people actually want to play legacy close by, I'm in.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier, but unfortunately I can't make this one. If this becomes a more regular deal however, you can count me in for the future.

I hope it will become a regular event.

Myself and two others will be there tomorrow at 7:00 PM. I hope the majority of those who said they will drop by do. By my estimates we could have around eight people tomorrow.
