Two Trinisphere actually works quite well here. You certainly do not want to see more than one and it's meant to be dropped after you've set up your Arbor Elves and Wild Growths. I feel like two is correct.
Yeah hydra is sweet. I'm pretty sure 7 Trinisphere is optimal. Windmill slam it turn 2.

If you're mocking me by putting my comment in your sig and recommending 7 Trinisphere you're cool!!

7 was obviously a joke but the point is it’s important in your deck.

Eh.. Trinisphere is not so important in this deck as opposed to Stax type decks or even some Stompy builds. There aren't too many one drops but enough to make it playable as a two of. The one drops in the deck establish your mana engine, then you want to drop Trinisphere. This isn't Stax. There are no turn one or two plays with Ancient Tomb that plop out Chalice or Trinisphere. You usually want to drop Trinisphere turn 3. Dropping Trinisphere turn two is a bad idea. You only want to see it once and don't want to lock yourself out. It really shines in conjunction with either or both Winter Orb or Root Maze for locking your opponent up.

Root Maze is your tempo version of Chalice as opposed to Stompy builds. Getting it in play turn one is your tempo play and effectively Time Walks you into your mana engine.

That being said the deck does have a favorable match up against Eldrazi & Taxes. Haven't tested it against Eldrazi Aggro though. It also has a very favorable match up against Death & Taxes which is the current deck to beat. With Root Maze in your opening hand it favors all fetchland based decks that I know of. I haven't tested them all though.

Delver variants especially Threshold builds that work off of tempo strategies struggle as there are no Wasteland targets for them to go after since all lands are basic. Also their mana base gets hit hard as Root Maze hoses fetchlands. Plus we have bigger creatures.

The worst threat to this deck is super fast combo decks such as Storm variants and Reanimator. However those have been on the decline after Probe was banned with the exception of Show and Tell.

Play test it before you make judgments or add my supposedly ridiculous quote to you're sig. That only makes you look like an asshole and/or ignorant.

Btw, speaking of my quote: Steel Leaf Champion is nuts in this deck. This card steamrolls D&T and Delver variants. Thrashing Brontodon is also better than Reclamation Sage and/or Wickerbough Elder. Bigger body than Sage and costs less than Elder. The one recommendation you made which was Kalonian Hydra was great though.
