Ahh, Mudhole, one of the worst cards ever printed.
This thread isn't here to discuss why it is terrible, but how, if the new Retrace cards make 43Lands or something similar the new Deck To Beat, then this card will actually be useful.
Now, I haven't tested the retrace cards yet in Loam decks. Raven's Crime seems powerful yet balanced, however, Worm's Harvest (sp) looks to potentially be amazing and game-breaking or bad and a 'win-more' card, along the lines of how people were excited about Swans.
Clearly, Mudhole is not a card that in any way currently warrents sideboard slots, let alone maindeck slots. However, I'm here to muse how it would be quite funny if one of the cards heralded as one of the worst cards ever printed was used as a hoser card for "The Best Deck in Legacy."
Odds are, Retrace will not lead to any true surge in Loam decks, but then again, there is no guarentee.
