Lets say I clash with an opponent.

What happens if the top card is a mana?
What happens if they have the same cc?

Lets say I have a Wistful Selkie in play. I play another Wistful Selkie from my hand. Would the first Wistful Selkie activate because I fufilled its effect requirements by playing Wistful Selkie, therefore allowing me to draw twice?

Land cards have converted mana cost equal to 0.
If both cards have the same converted mana cost, no one wins.
No. If a card's name is in its own text box, it's the same as "this". If an effect checks for card name, it explicitly says so. It would be something like this: "When a card named Wistful Selkie comes into play, draw a card."

If the top card is a land, then its cmc is 0.

If they have the same cmc then nothing will happen.

You would only get to draw once.

Just because I'm a niggling perfectionist, a land is a card, Mana is what is produced by land (or other sources). Just for future reference.

That's not being perfectionistic. It's a mistake made quite often by new players and it also gets horribly on my nerves.
