As you might have heard from BDM's article last friday http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/daily/bd345.
This year's World Team Finals is going to be three person teams.
But instead of the usual draft format they have had year in and year out since 1996, they decided to go back to the old 1995 World Team thing with constructed. Instead of all of them using one format, Wizards has decided to do the triple formats and let each member decide on which format they want to play between T2, Extended and Legacy. Each member picks one of those rather than playing each and every single one consecutively.
After that is all decided and rounded off, each player will be paired off with the appropriate formated player in the Team portion to play against each other for the top 2.
What I am trying to say here is to write to Wizards all your kick in the teeth letters, and tell them to broadcast the entire Legacy match in the World Team Finals Webcast in the featured match.
Because I know by experience that if we don't speak up, Wizards is going to move ahead and only show either most or even the entire the T2 or Extended matches while they show only nibbles of what is going on in the Legacy portion or not even show Legacy at all!
This is an opportunity on one hand to finally give the world a window into how some of these decks actually work other than all the garbage and propaganda that the T2 community has curtained over the global community about it. When was the last time Legacy was shown on a Webcast?
T2 has more Web Matches on the net than this format followed by Draft, Block, and Extended.
The other time I sent to Wizards a kick in the teeth letter was around May of last year, and in a day or less Aaron and team did take action. So if you could please do just that, they'll listen to this group and give us a more reasonable answer than the last few crap answers we got the other times.
If you do write to them, tell them that BDU asked as a request.
Thanks.
