Date: Saturday September 20th 2008
Start Time: 1:00PM Registration begins at 11:30 AM (try to be on time, we will be starting promptly at 1:00)
Type: Legacy (1.5)
Cost: $10.00
Minimum of 12 People
Where: 41 Russell ST
Hadley, MA 01035

1st place: 4x Sea Drake or $170.00 in Store Credit
2nd place: 4x Volcanic Island or $100.00 store credit
3rd Place: $60.00 store credit
4th Place: $40.00 store credit
5th-8th Places each get 6 boosters
This will be a SANCTIONED event.

Our big legacy tournament in binghamton is the week after this one, i'm not sure I can convince the lads to do a double header. Wish this was a week earlier, could have probably brought a car load of people.

If my memory serves, I've played in 3 PTs, US Nats, won the NAC, and top8'ed a GP. Heck I even won the first 2HG Champs and convinced the DCI that the team drawing 2 cards had a huge advantage over the play team.

To truly give the PT Experience you have to have real magic accomplishments and barns galore...one of my favorite barn memories was at a Taco Bell drive through when the guy at the window says, "You read InQuest" and I said "Nay, I write for InQuest" and hence another barn was created...ah how I miss spawning barns :-)

Also fun fact the whole ride back to Worcester Ben (Force_Of_Will) was bitching about how he felt like shit and then 5 minutes before we got back to my school he asks me to grab the Dunkin Donuts bag in the back seat because he thinks he is going to throw up... he does.... and naturally right as we pull into my school where there are many a trashcan the bag breaks while hes holding it lmfao what a beating!

Anyways I went a shitty 3-3 losing most do to terrible play especially against Joe Bernier in Round 4. Lesson of the tournament, Sleep the night before DON'T go out and party... oh well.

2-1 Counterbacked Nought gets there 2/3 times.
Round 2: UGb Thresh (Dxfiler)
1-2 We had a real close three, in the end he drew more threats than I.
Round 3:
2-0 Angel Stax
Round 4: GWB Thresh (Demoncrovax)
0-2 A lot of play errors ftl (lack of sleep starts to catch up)
Round 5: Uwb Landstill (Nickrit2000)
1-1-1 We got to time after a really great 2 games and he scoops since I have amazing breaks and a pairup might sneak me into 8th.
Round 6: Alas, no pair up
0-2 Death & Taxes
A combination of him having really good hands, me not, and lack of sleep give him a fairly easy 2.
Oh well, it was still a really fun tournament.

I would once again like to thank everyone that made it out to the event. We did have 50 players, which well exceeded any number I would have hoped for. However when I first opened I ran a Sea Drake tourney which had 44 (tied for the highest turnout for the mox pearl).

Thank you all very much. I am working on Octobers schedule and hopping to find a weekend that will work, otherwise we will be on a two month break until December.

I will post top 8 lists later today, or tomorrow afternoon.
