Recoup & Lion's Eye Diamond

For those rule gurus out there:

My question is as follows: Is there anyway to cast Recoup from your hand with a Lion's Eye Diamond in play and get the Recoup to target a sorcery in your hand (via LED discard)?

My intuition says no but some outside assistance would be much appreciated.

I believe you choose your target when casting the spell.

Meaning, no, you can't do this. However, the flashback can target it.

There is a couple things wrong with what you're trying to do.

1. You can no longer announce a spell from your hand and pay for it using LED.
2. Upon announcing a spell you must choose your targets before paying the costs of that spell. However, you certainly could break LED, then use the flashback ability to target a card in your graveyard.

If you have another Sorcery in the yard before blowing up LED, though, you can pull this off with a Willbender or Goblin Flectomancer ;).
